Visiting from Cincinnati - 10/10 recommend!! Such a vibey, classy, welcoming restaurant. Our server Faye truly went above and beyond… the place was packed but she took her time to share with us about the restaurant, the art, the menu, and even other spots to visit in Richmond! She answered all of our questions and helped us make a confident choice for our order (which is really important for someone so indecisive like me!). The food was delicious and the drinks were strong and also very good! I had the sangria and he got a manhattan 🥂 For food I ordered the brick oven crab cakes and they were a really good portion size, I almost couldn’t finish them. He ordered the black pepper honey sausage pizza and ate every crumb. All of the staff from the hostess to the bar tender to our server were just genuinely really kind and made the experience that much better. If we’re ever back in Richmond, we’ll be back at Tazza!

Excellent Cauliflower appetizer and waitress awesome- lovely patio and warm interior. We can tolerate some heat but the beef and shrimp tacos were not memorable because after 2 bites it was a heat overload. I think the beets were even hot. Beans fire hot. No relief. Flavor was there initially but got burned out. Possibly the Guacamole was the problem? I love a good guacamole and there was no love here. We would come back to try something with zero heat as a great spot and service exceptional.

This place was a wonderful surprise and deserves all the stars! This places ticked all the boxes from food, to cocktails, to service, to ambiance. First time here but hoping it won't be my last. Popped in here on my happy hour adventure in Short Pump and every single one of my expectations wad just blown out of the water. I grabbed a seat at the bar since it was just me. They have a great and insanely reasonable happy hour menu. I ordered the Redwood cocktail and it was absolutely delicious, this coming from someone who doesn't really care for bourbon but was intrigued by the description. For dinner I went with the whipped feta with honey and their pulled pork sliders. Feta dish? Creamy whipped feta, honey, and warm bread like what's not to like? Pulled pork sliders were small and the perfect portio for one person. Through all this consistent check ins from their amazing staff who was kept very busy but I never felt like an after thought. Cherry on top? They were kind enough to brew me a cup of coffee despite all the chaos and it was this type of service that makes Mr want to come back and share the experience with theirs the next time I'm in the area.

Came here by coincidence and happy we did! Every single person on the staff is kind and professional. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. And the food…DELICIOUS! We had the prosciutto and arugula pizza and the cast iron goat cheese appetizer both of which I highly recommend. All fresh ingredients and perfect crisp and taste. We will definitely return!

Had booked a table, but the table was not ready when we arrived. We were offered a table outside, sat down, but it was too cold. Then got a table inside on high chairs. Which was not quite optimal for us. Understand that it is not always easy to calculate when people come and go, but as we had booked in advance this should have been fixed. The food also took a long time, the waiter apologized for this. We had a freestyle pizza, and a "Prosciutto & arugula" as well as a children's pizza with ham. Everything tasted very good. Some might say the crust is too burnt, but that's just how I prefer it. Loses a star in the rating as the table was not ready and got a completely different table to the one we ordered.

GREAT experience and delicious food! Went for Brunch on a Saturday and was thrilled with every aspect of the place! Our server Martin was a consummate professional, knowledgeable, accommodating, and timely! He made great recommendations and took the effort to try and swap a menu match because we had someone allergic to avocado. Each dish was perfect, highly recommend the French Toast or huevos rancheros. The pizza was killer also! Everything on the menu looked delicious so I am definitely going back in the near future.

We went here to escape the chaos of black Friday shopping. I called ahead to confirm availability after 2 failed attempts at other places and from the first phone call, we had truly an excellent experience. The gentleman we spoke with said that he had one high top available and he was going to reserve it for us as it was by the fireplace. Needless to say, my party was very enthused with being able to sit there. Our server, Layne, was super accommodating and very friendly. We truly enjoyed the service, the food, and the atmosphere. We will absolutely be back. I did the sausage honey pizza and yes while it sounds weird, it was AMAZING. We also did a queso dip and the cheese was great as well.

Super cute restaurant with a nice ambiance. Good food for decent prices. We went with our baby and they had plenty of space for strollers and car seats/ high chairs. We ordered a pizza and burrito bowl for myself and my husband and left very satisfied and full.

Tazza kitchen is never a disappointment. I love the food here, especially the pizzas. Prior reservation is advised during weekends and evenings but not mandatory. Brunch and lunch times are usually less crowded. They take good care of dietary restrictions.

I consider Tazza a hidden gem, it doesn’t get the popularity as some of the larger restaurants. The food is gourmet and always fresh. Chef changes the menu through out the year with available fresh produce. You can always try new dishes and can never get tired eating here. Best of all, food is very reasonably priced, you can get a well prepared meal without putting a hole in your wallet. The service has always been perfect. Plenty of cocktails, beer and wine to pair with your meal.
