After Wakefield High (8 a.m.) commencement, graduates & family members went here for post graduation meal.. The breakfast bar & service was excellent. Will definitely return.
The breakfast was nice. Had a pizza at the bar that was delicious. The bartender was hilarious! Great place!
Since I am staying at the hotel, this restaurant and bar are very convenient for me. The service was excellent! That combination omelet was delicious!! The price of the meal was very reasonable.
We liked it .. service was good .. staff attentive .. excellent meatballs and spaghetti .. we would return.
We enjoyed our dinner. You could tell it was a slow evening. Our steaks were over cooked. I’m glad the server recommended other sides but if you recommend a temp on the steak it should be cooked at that temperature. It was an ok experience. I do not believe we are the ideal audience. Please give it a try you may love it.
My first time eating here and at first the experience wasn't good. The host took forever to seat us, the host didn't actually seat us a server did. Before then multiple servers just walked right past us as if they didn't see us. A line started to form and a lady behind us went to go look for someone. Its like we were just being ignored, so that was frustrating and rude at first. The food made up for it. I got ravioli with corn, bacon and smoked chicken. It also had some other things. It was really really good. Very spacious and our server was good.

We decided to stop here for an early dinner because we saw the menu outside with a gluten free pizza option that looked delicious. We sat out on the patio with our dog and each had a beer. The patio is completely covered and had a nice breeze coming from inside the restaurant, which helped on this really hot day.
I ordered an Omission beer, which is gluten reduced. I was happy to see that they had a few gluten free/gluten reduced options for me to choose from.
The pizza we so fell in love with and wanted to try (Funky Pizza) was apparently not available for another 30 minutes until their dinner hour started. So instead we ordered the Three Cheese White pizza and added mushrooms.
However, when it came out the crust looked much too fluffy to be gluten free (the first pizza picture). The server had disappeared, so I had to go back in to find her. When I asked her if the pizza was actually gluten free, even though it was labeled as "V" & "GF" she told me it wasn't unless I specifically asked. She was quick to get another pizza ordered for us that was actually gluten free (the second pizza pictured).
But as someone who's been in the service industry for over 20 years, if I see someone order a drink that's specifically gluten free, I always inquire as to whether their meal needs to be as well. Apparently, that's not common practice here and you have to be extra clear and specify everything. A little disappointing for 2 people who've been in the industry for so long because it should just be common sense.
Either way, the pizza itself was really good and the atmosphere was nice. We'll probably go back again in the future. But now we know that we have to clarify everything before ordering with them.
We had our rehearsal dinner at Jimmy V’s and they did a fantastic job. The food was great, they were super accommodating, and Trevor and Marissa were awesome servers, and Chase went above and beyond communicating and helping organize everything. Absolutely recommend grabbing dinner here or organizing an event with them!
We stayed at the Sheraton for the evening and came here for lunch and cocktails the next day. The place had a great atmosphere. Loved being able to see the open kitchen and wood fire pizzas cooking!
We sat at the bar. Our bartenders and everyone else working there, were exceptionally friendly. The service was on time.
I had the steak salad, which was good. My friend had a pizza, which was also good. Honestly, we expected the food to be much better. Portions are really large so it's a trade off, I guess. Perhaps if I'd partaken of more of the great beer selection I'd have enjoyed the food more!

When in downtown Raleigh eat here. The staff was friendly and efficient. The kitchen was prompt and accurately filled our order. The food was served to all of our 10 person party at the same time and all the dishes were perfectly prepared. Prices are affordable. The atmosphere of the restaurant is pleasant and our conversations could be easily shared across the table.
We love the food and people at Jimmy V’s! We came every day of our stay in Raleigh & had the great pleasure of having Brook as our waitress! She was there morning & night and was always so friendly, helpful and fun to chat with. She added a lot of happiness to our meals. The iced tea, pizza, salads, and everything we ordered were delicious but the bruschetta & pasta Alfredo were beyond excellent! Chef Dustin is a genius. It’s hard to make Alfredo sauce just right - not too thick & clumpy but not too thin or runny. Dustin nailed it! My brother-in-law who is an Italian cuisine chef thought Dustin’s pasta Alfredo was perfect. The bruschetta blew our minds - it was so good! We are going to try to make it for our Thanksgiving appetizer but it won’t be as great as Dustin’s! We’ll try though. Thank you Brook & Dustin and Dominic for being so fantastic at your work & so friendly.
My mother and I attended their Thanksgiving Buffet Special for tonight and it was unbelievably good. The wait staff were very attentive, kind, and seemed genuinely glad to have us there. Much appreciated. It's not easy working on the holidays. ❤️ Also, the food itself was down right delicious. Thank you Jimmy Vs for being our Home away from Home this year for Thanksgiving.
