Probably our favorite French place by far in the triangle. No mass produced food here. Every dish is clearly made fresh with care. I've never not had a top tier dish here. Everything is always perfectly cooked and gorgeously plated and the service is impeccable.
My lamb was fantastic. The red wine reduction paired perfectly with it and very rich. My risotto was great and even the carrots and green beans were perfectly cooked with exactly the right amount of seasoning.
The charcuterie plate was the most generous and varied I've had of any of the restaurants I've tried.
Wrote a review on open table but forgot about Google! So writing a very late review from April 2022 but had to write this review to tell you if you want good french food and wonderful service go here! My husband said it was the best french onion soup he has ever had! Escargot was delicious and authentic. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and felt very special- service was incredible! Merci to St Jacques!
Wow. Just WOW!!! From the moment we walked in and was greeted by Maddie’s smile, we knew we were in for a treat! Everything we ordered was exceptional - from the Chef Board and Onion Soup, to our dinners of beef tenderloin and rack of lamb, it was AMAZING. Not the experience we were expecting from a strip mall restaurant, but thoroughly impressed. Fantastic service from Maddie as well. Highly recommend!
Good French restaurant. Quiet. Perfect for date night. We had the scallops and crab cake, escargot, and lamb. We had two red wines: Domaine Paul Buisse and the Cosme, really good.
Ooh là là! Wonderful restaurant! My wife and I just celebrated our anniversary here last weekend. Very impressed! For starters, we had incredibly great service from our server, Alex. She was very knowledgeable and accommodating. And then there was the food! We split 3 appetizers: Onion Soup, Coquille St. Jacques, & Escargots. I highly recommend all 3 of these! Special shout-out on the Coquille St. Jacques. I am a scallops fan in general, but the way these were prepared takes scallops to a whole ‘nother level. For entrees we shared the Filet Mignon and the Beef Bourguignon. For both of these, easily the best I have ever had. Loved this place and we will be back. Truly a standout in the Raleigh restaurant landscape. Many thanks to Saint Jacques for providing us with a great place to celebrate our anniversary!
Prepare to be transported to a food lovers heaven. I was a little worried whether I was in for a joke walking up to this place next to a Chinese restaurant & a Harris Teeter. Trust me, once inside you are in another world. The chef brought out a delicious amuse-bouche and from the first bite I knew this place was no joke. The flavors are pronounced, vibrant, and most of all yummy. Be sure to get your fill of the rosemary bread and the honey cranberry bread. It was a 5 star meal and a luxury experience from the wait staff. I love that the chef took time to come visit every table at some point. This food is worth the trip, make a reservation and drive from wherever you are to experience the best French restaurant in the south.
Server started off by asking us about allergies. I am allergic to walnuts, so I really appreciated that. We ordered the cheese plate and it's covered in walnuts. Everything else was great though.
Went there for my birthday this evening. Great food great service. Everything was magnificent and phenomenal. I was speechless and touched about the quality of this place. It completed my 29th without any doubt. No one else will ever beat this place.
Started off from appetizer, soup, main courses till dessert and drinks for this special occasion. Very very impressed.

We celebrated my boy friend's birthday today on May 14th. I tried the French cuisine the very first time. The food was amazing. Delicious I should say. The service was on point. Every dish made my day. I was in love with my plate, my food and the chef ❤️ Saint Jacques and the chef made our day 😘
What a gem! A small restaurant in a strip mall, but don't let the location deter you. Amazingly delicious food beautifully presented. A must try in Raleigh.
