I have not ordered from here prior to this evening. Saw that it was rated 4 1/2 stars so decided to give your place a try. Everything we ordered came delivery and was quicker then we anticipated. Definitely going to make your place a more regular on the "where to get dinner from" list. All the food was delicious and I was really impressed with what we got. Thank you for the great meal and keep up the good work!

Thank you Pelegrino's for being helpful and going out of your way to deliver food. The family said your food was very good!
The food here is pretty good! I believe they used to have a small location on McKnight Road (near Target and those shops) but somewhat recently moved to a slightly bigger place (although still kind of small). Not too much room to sit down. I ordered the cheese calzone.
When I picked up the order, the guy was pretty nice and relatively quickly got me my food. There were more workers than I thought (recent expansion). Decently clean.
The calzone itself was really quite good. For the price, the portion was about what I'd expect, maybe even a little more. The cheese was pretty high quality. Great quality bread and a nice portion of bread to cheese. Very tasty garlic topping.
I also really liked the side tomato sauce, although I would have liked a slightly larger portion of sauce (and it was kind of cold). Very chunky tomato sauce with a nice bit of spice and salt.
All in all, this place is quite a good pizza shop. Good portion, decent enough price, and quite a good tomato sauce. I enjoyed the classic cheese calzone.
Pizza was good according to the kids and our lasagna was pretty good. Could have been warmer. Lots of burnt cheese in the lasagna container and not too much sauce but still managed to taste pretty good. Willing to give it another go! It’s a pizza place so perfection isn’t a requirement.
Pelegrino's is a culinary paradise for pizza enthusiasts! From the moment you step in, the aroma of freshly baked dough and exquisite toppings transports you to a world of gastronomic delight. Each slice is a symphony of flavors – the perfect balance of a crisp crust, rich tomato sauce, and an abundance of premium, mouthwatering toppings. The attention to detail in crafting these pizzas is unparalleled, making Pelegrino's a haven for those who appreciate the artistry of a perfect pizza. The friendly staff and inviting ambiance only enhance the overall dining experience, making it a must-visit for anyone seeking pizza perfection.
Finally, a SATISFACTORY PIZZERIA in Pittsburgh! It’s very difficult to find pizza in this town, they’re either too greasy, horrible cheese and tomato sauce, or factory made dough or those terrible franchises.
It’s not quite the Italian pizza but they embrace the original Neopolitan spirit of the pizza, i.e. put in as much topping as you like!!! Choose any of their pizza and then modify it.
My recommendation: thin crust, pesto sauce, meat lovers with extra meatballs, anchovies, mushrooms, onions and fresh mozzarella (no other cheese).
Add in crispy chicken wings, plain so you can use you own dipping sauce. Also a Greek salad.
I am not convinced on their pastas, they’re all tomato-base and not sure if pasta is store-made. Hence, the four stars.
They have an open-view kitchen, with a nicely kept dining area (though it was closed when I visited last).
Pelegrino’is our go to pizza take out spot. Delicious, good specials, good prices!!! Their hoagies and wings are just as good as the pizza. I tried to order pizza on Friday and they were closed for the holiday to give their staff the time off with their families and friends -not even mad about that. I love supporting a good business!
Made it this far into it and jumped right to google! Not gonna lie, best pasta I’ve had in a longgg while. And we ordered right before close, yet still came on time, HOT, and was 100% delicious!!! A DEF RECOMMEND!!

Great thin crust pizza, super crisp and lovely flavor. Great variety of toppings you can't always find elsewhere. Will def get again.
This place is phenomenal, and we totally found it by chance! We are in Pittsburgh for a family member that is in the hospital and had to stop at the Target, which is across the street. We were hungry and spotted this little pizza place, and we are so glad we did! They don't have pizza by the slice, unfortunately, but it's worth getting a pie. They're not unreasonably expensive. We had the pepperoni rolls (8 large ones) and the hand-tossed Pelegrino Specialty pizza. They have yummy sauce and dough! Highly recommended!
First time ordering from this place. Got myself a small Mediterranean pizza with black olives. Was pretty good! Would order again.
OMG! I cannot believe I neglected to take a picture of the most beautiful cheese calzone ever! I have seen other calzones in different places, but never tried one, because the ones I saw did not look like the one I got. This had a GOLDEN dough, that was baked using CRISCO!!! ...hence the golden glow, with hand crimped crust, ricotta AND their own cheese blend and marinara sauce. It was huge, and so worth the price. My friend had their Italian hoagie, which she could only eat a quarter of, and all I heard was "YUM!". We did dine in, but the dining area is small, and not fully attended to, but I gave five stars for atmosphere because the staff is exceptional. We are going to order the pizza on Saturday, because two other ladies dining in had that, and as we passed by, the smell was heavenly. There is parking out front, and you have to keep an eye out for entrance off Babcock, and they do deliver. I feel very fortunate to have found this place, 'cause this is our new go-to Italian eatery. Try it...you won't be disappointed 😋
