We had 12 people in our party and our server Raven was on top of it. We never waited for anything. She has a great knowledge of beers and their beer list. Highly recommend. Our second time there and both have been great! Food excellent. Get the buffalo chicken flatbread!!

Fun place to grab a bite, and perfect timing for our program at East Liberty! We really enjoyed our meal: great service with a server who was friendly, attentive without hovering, and cheerfully brought me a cup of (just) hot water -- mostly to warm my hands, but I also drank it-- and made a pot of decaf for Ellie! The food was outstanding, and portions generous: we shared Ellie's enormous bowl of soup (she called it chicken & dumplings, but it was more like a creamy chicken -- LOTS of chicken! ) and my mini surf & turf was more than enough. She had the chicken sandwich, which she pronounced excellent. We each took a small box home, and decreed next time we have to sit at the counter for drinks and to be able to watch the cooking happen!

Some of the best food I think I've had in Pittsburgh! Everything was so flavorful and the wings were cooked perfectly with a lot of delicious sauces to choose from, fries were the best! Our server was also great and very kind and all around this was definitely just a 5 star experience, both inside and outside seatings are very nice and cozy as well. Can't recommend enough

Very welcoming environment. Glen was a very nice waiter. The food was amazing! Highly recommend the grilled wings over the fried. The honey mustard sauce for the wings was perfect. I had the Fire Side burger, and it was all I could ask for and more. It's what a burger should be. Overall, YES, I would come back, and I strongly recommend this spot to anyone and everyone!

Service was quick and we sat right down, having an Open Table reservation. The food was pretty good. We had the nachos with shredded chicken but the cheese was cold. The goat cheese and spinach salad (I subbed mixed greens) was delicious. I also got the shrimp on top with balsamic dressing. My fiancé got the Philly cheese steak and he thought it was pretty good. Service was phenomenal. I would recommend.

This place was great. The burgers and sandwiches in general are top notch. The atmosphere could use some updating, but overall great experience and good service. They got a couple little things wrong with the order, but corrected it quickly. Highly recommend the French onion burger, cooked to perfection.

Tasty! Is the only way to describe the fare. We ate up so fast, I never got pictures of the food! Everything arrived hot and well presented. Kobe beef hotdog, Perogies, shrimp, steak — all of it wonderful. They did not miss a cusine beat. Service was a bit slow. Music a bit too loud. Atmosphere ho hum…But you wont mind much once you get your fork going. Check out my art and orher observations on Instagram. Christine clay studio and stuff.

I really enjoy the big open kitchen in the middle with the wood fire grill. If you sit around the bar area you can watch them cook up your food while having a beverage. Currently working my way around the menu, but everything I had so far was delicious, the grilled wings with the Wildfire BBQ sauce was my favorite so far (they had some kick for sure). Friendly staff and affordable dining. Nice outdoor space in the warmer months. The beer selection is decent, has some local PA brews available and some of your standard beer. Cocktails and non alcoholic beverages also available.

The Fire Side Public House NEVER misses! Every item I have eaten here has been delicious and worth every dollar spent. The service is exceptional! I sat down and was greeted by Jayla who took our drink and appetizer orders and when I say I had food in front of me no less than 10 minutes later it is no exaggeration. Not only were the apps pleasing to the eye, but even more so to the pallet! And they were hot! There were only 3 waitresses managing tables and one was dedicated to a very large party but never did I ever feel neglected! The kitchen is open and you can see the food being prepped so you get dinner and a show! Can't recommend enough!

Great business plan, great burgers, great beer, friendly service, fun atmosphere, and convenient parking in downtown Pittsburgh. fire roasted everything in front of you, even the wings. Casual, unpretentious neighborhood feel. Full bar available as well.

The food and the service was excellent. They serve very generous portions and they have a very unique mix of favors in their dishes. The crab hushpuppies are delicious and topped wonderfully with a sweet and savory finish. The Nachos can easily serve a party of 5 and the burgers are perfectly cooked. If you want to have a hometown favorite, their cheesecake is huge and it is satisfying. They also specialize in drinks and a variety of beers. I highly recommend this restaurant. I can appreciate their efforts during this pandemic by ensuring that all tables are distanced apart and their patrons are safe.

The food is excellent! I've had every meat except chicken and all were well prepared as ordered. Sides are exceptional as well. The grilled brussels are delicious 😋, street corn is on-point! The staff is friendly. It's awesome to see your food grilled while you watch. I have made this my go to restaurant when in Pittsburgh.
