We had a date night. This is a very pricey steak house. But service and manager were on point. Never had to ask for anything and was will to accommodate any need. We both got steaks, cooked to perfection, as well as being very large and in charge portion. Sides are family style we got the loaded mashed potatoes they were also very good. We did not save room for dessert.

Staff were great. The food was amazing. Had the lobster done like escargot, the 8oz Big Ben Oscar style and the brussel sprouts with bacon marmalade. I couldn't have asked for a better last night it Pittsburgh. I will be back again forsure.

All I can say is WOW! Food was amazing which was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Manager Kylie came to our table and not only checked on us but had a conversation with us. I will eat here everytime I'm in the burg.

We came here for our 5 year anniversary. Great food. We both got steaks. The steaks were both incredible! I would give the main courses a 5 star and the sides a 4, they were still good. Their service was incredible! Always had someone making sure everything was as good as we expected it to be. And the dessert was fantastic. Would definitely come back.

Went here to start an after Christmas tradition. Food was really good, steaks came out done to order, the only thing that keeps it from 5 stars is the service. When the staff came around they were very friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. However it took at least 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged that we were seated, then there was a good 10 minutes between visits after that. Dinner for 4 took almost 2 full hrs. We did notice that the tables around us seemed to get much more attention. For close to 100 dollars a person I expected more attentive service. It didn't seem that the restaurant was very busy, however they were out of the popular items.

My wife and I were in Pittsburgh for the Green Bay game and decided to try this place. We didn't have reservations and it was a Saturday night, they still managed to get us seated in a reasonable time. The table location wasn't great as it was next to the door, small, and the chair was fairly uncomfortable. Don't let that deter you. The service is top notch and the food was delicious. My wife is a vegetarian, but even she thought her for was wonderful. I had the Hines Ward, which is a filet mignon in a Cabernet sauce. I'm telling you, it was the best steak I've had in my life. It was so flavorful and tender, I can barely put it into words. My wife ordered the Caesar salad and french onion soup and she enjoyed it. We also got a side of mac and cheese, which was the only negative food piece, it just was lacking the... cheese. We ordered dessert. She got the creme brulee and I had the colossal red velvet. Both were an explosion in the mouth. The red velvet cake... Plan for a box. It's pricey, but it's worth every penny. I can't wait to visit Pittsburgh again just for this place.

Food was delicious. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection. The colossal carrot cake was delicious as well. Definitely enough to feed 4 to 5 people. Service was phenomenal.

I went to Hyde Park for a special occasion. Of Course, it's designed for that. I think we got the new server on their first day after training. It was a Tuesday so it wasn't busy at all. I think we also got the grill chef on their first day too. Neither of the steaks came out the way they were ordered. Apps came out over cooked as well. They brought in a special closer server to help with whatever was happening that night. In the end all was well enough, and the guest of honor was fairly satisfied. Everyone should check it out. You can just go for yourself! (~);}

The waitress was a little informal for such a nice restaurant. However, you get a Hallmark-style card celebrating your event (if you go on a special occasion). The appetizer was great. Drinks were decadent and the presentations were spot on. Steaks were delicious. I highly recommend the lobster mac & cheese and do NOT leave without having dessert!!

We had our anniversary dinner here and everything was fantastic. Great service, they really made our meal special. The food was incredible. The boutique dining experience of the Japanese Wagyu A5 is hard to beat. Hyde park never disappoints.
