El Nopal Mexican Restaurant

I’m highly disappointed in the service I received today. The bad part is that I love the food here and have always give positive reviews from word of mouth but lately I have not been satisfied. Prior to today I’ve called in orders 3 different times and they were incorrect. I didn’t make a big deal, but today, not only was the order wrong but was missing items. At this point, I couldn’t keep letting thing go so I call and let the young man on the phone know that my order was wrong and missing items. He was adamant that I was wrong, placed me on hold then hung up which prompted me to drive alll the way up here for a refund. He talked with the manager and told him possibly a half true. The manager NEVER came out to speak to me but instead sent the same young man back out to let me know that he couldn’t give me a refund, but would discount my order. The young man repeated the order back to me which was still wrong. So my order was initially incorrect, missing items AND then repeated back to me incorrectly AGAIN, but yet a refund is not warranted huh?! How does that make sense? I sat and waited for a new order only for them to bring it out incorrect AGAIN. I asked to speak with the manager yet AGAIN and he NEVER came out. Poor poor poor customer service....I will never come back again.

Recently visited for a late lunch so it wasn't crowded or anything and they are following social distancing guidelines. Our server was nice and attentive. The complimentary chips and salsa were delicious. Salsa has a little kick but it's just more on the flavorful side. I ordered their new steak tacos and the flavor of the steak was amazing! Loved it enjoyed them so much. I had a friend order their fries and queso you can skip on that. Generic steak fries and you couldn't even see the queso could barely taste. Another reason for 4 stars their horchata is not very good. Doesn't have enough flavor and they just add way too much cinnamon to try to overcompensate for it.
