Dutch's At Silver Tree

My boyfriend and I visited Duchess this week, and had a great experience. We were quickly greeted upon entering the restaurant and seated. Austin was our server, and he was very knowledgeable about specials and helping me select a craft cocktail to consume. I ordered the scallops and my boyfriend order the chicken Alfredo. We were impressed with the flavor of the food, and the portion size. The food and cocktail were delicious, and had superb service! This restaurant is a must visit when at Deep Creek Lake.

Went here on a spur of the moment to treat ourselves. So glad we did. Everything was awesome. Chris was our outstanding waiter. We had soup and appetizers. The French onion soup was very flavorful and my husband's cream of crab was delicious ad well. We had stuffed mushroom caps topped with lump crab meat and so good. Husband had fried oysters that he said was some of the best he has had. You could tell that the breading was lighter done. We both had Dutchs broiled seafood platter. It was so good but we both took home enough to have another meal. We both agreed we will be eating here again.

We ate at Dutch’s twice during our recent visit to Deep Creek and it was fabulous both times. We sat outside and loved the food, service and atmosphere! We had the crab cake sandwich and imperial topped chicken sandwich both times they were so delicious! After we ate ordered drinks and sat by the lake!

For the prices we paid, we didn't expect to see people in crocs and gym shorts. Service started off a little slow, but once we got some food, it got better. Food was delicious. Some of the best Seared Ahi Tuna we've had as an appetizer. Steak was cooked well and all the seafood was amazing. Got creme Brulee for dessert and it was a little on the thick side. Overall good experience.

We ate outside, which was a bit chilly & rainy that day (doesn't factor into scoring as you can not control weather). We were hoping to have a good view of water but was obscured with child junglegym. The food was really good, including the half & half Maryland crab & cream of crab soup...but $20 for soup? My shrimp salad over garden salad was just what I was looking for. The steak & cheese sandwich had plenty of both. But again prices were a bit hefty. Server was attentive.
