Excellent service, friendly staff, nice atmosphere and amazing catering department that caters to food allergies with tasty, healthful and delicious meals. Alexa Mullen was instrumental and precise in making sure my food was properly prepared. Her friendly and professional manner and assurance made me feel confident that the Papillion and it's culinary department would deliver with exceptional service a delicious and healthful meal that they promised. I highly recommend this establishment.
Such a cute place, awesome food and great service! The cheese plate was amazing and their truffle dressing is so good! Can’t wait to go back!
My favourite restaurant so far! Food is great and nicely prepared. I loved their steak tartare. The hostess is friendly and would bring my dog water every time. Outdoor seating is great, except for that one time when people next to our table started smoking. But the hostess seated us somewhere else immediately. :) Last but not least, they're dog friendly!!! 🐶
I made a reservation same day and didn’t have any issues with wait time. It was for 5 pm on a Friday before it got super packed. The food was mid. The mozzarella sticks and calamari just tasted frozen. The croque monsieur and the blue cheese salad were great and I would recommend those dishes. The cocktails were okay. This is a place you definitely come to for the experience, especially for the Christmas decor. I would probably come back. I also wasn’t sure if it would be kid friendly but I brought my baby and 5 year old and found many others brought their kids!

Me and my sister wanted to dress up and go to a holiday bar and this place didn't disappoint us! The decorations were on point and the drinks and food were amazing.
The Manger Miguel was amazing, and our waiter Gabby was on top of everything she was awesome and made us feel comfortable.
Cool French bistro that went ham for Halloween! The decor during my visit was super cool.
The food was good. I had the mussels with fries which were delicious. Big, meaty Mussels with a rich broth with Pernod.
The service was alright, considering there were very few people dining.
In conclusion, a cool restaurant aesthetically, especially for Halloween. I would probably return, the food was good and I like what the owners did for Halloween.
This was a really fun spot to hit if you like Halloween decor or if you just love skeletons and eery vibes.
We came here in October in the spirit of Halloween and really enjoyed entire atmosphere.
For food we got the spinach dip and it was pretty good. It came with pita chips. They have an appetizer deal so if you come with a big group it can be very cost effective.
Drinks we got the cocktails and they were surprisingly strong. They tasted good, usual cocktails - nothing special.
Service: The service was pretty slow and there were a few times we had to flag our server down.
Price: The price of the drinks and appetizers are the usual NYC prices.
Overall, I felt like it was an average bar for food and drinks however the decor really made a big difference in the atmosphere and it was a fun experience.

This place was an amazing time for Halloween fun! The decorations were spectacular and a great way to spend the evening with friends! The food and drinks are pretty good but not the best I have ever had out in NYC!
New York Midtown, a staple in the neighborhood. Great for a quick bite for lunch, meeting friends after work or dinner with friends. Pappillon also has an upper floor with a bar that can be rented for an event. Oversized portions. If you are in the area they have decorated for Halloween.
Dress to the nines for the holiday season, This two-story establishment is seasonally festive. Friendly staff, fun cocktails and welcoming atmosphere. Stop in and see what “festive” really means!!

We didn't have a reservation and seating at the bar was crowded. It was decorated very festive for Christmas
So beautifully during Christmas season and very tasty food 🍱 and the price is not too much. Highly recommend to visit
