As a New Yorker, I would highly recommend this restaurant to tourists&residents of the city alike. It is peaceful and has a very convenient location. Excellent. Truly a beautiful restaurant, with incredible service. I have never met such great waiters before I came here. My food tasted incredibly fresh, with authentic Turkish flavors. Everything about this restaurant, from the music to the interior to the food is so impressive that I would be immediately able to know it was Turkish even if I had never left NYC.
I read really great things about the restaurant and Alp the waiter whom we were luckily to have him as our waiter. He was very knowledgeable, engaging, and an overall great waiter.
The food was good. The sizes are light so one person can definitely get just the main course and eat it in one sitting.
We also had the dinner special which was very filling and a larger portion than the regular.
We didn’t get to try the dessert.
I’ve passed by this place many times over the last couple of years. I finally decided to stop and eat there. The servers are wonderful. They are kind and attentive. They provided us with a couple of items on the house: an appetizer and Turkish tea! The atmosphere is just right.
I had one of their fabulous vegetable dishes: okra in tomato sauce. Delicious! 😋 For dessert I had Kataifi! It was so delicious. It was not too sweet and the texture was amazing.
Weather was beautiful so I treated my mom for lunch. Our amazing waiter Alp made our experience unforgettable & heartwarming ❤️ and his menu recommendations did not disappoint! We started off with the Avocado Hummus and the Cacik dip paired with their fresh pita which was delicious along with their dressing homemade lemonade. The homemade beef ravioli was so savory. For our entree, we ordered the grill combo platter for 2 and I love that it comes with a little bit of everything and seasoned to perfection. As dessert, we ordered the twisted baklava which was perfection and finished off with a creamy Turkish coffee. Thank you Alp for being so charismatic. We look forward to coming back very soon!🤗

Lovely little Turkish restaurant right in the theatre district. I loved their delicious lentil soup, it was outstanding. The warm and attentive staff provide wonderful service with a smile and offer helpful suggestions. The Turkish tea and the wonderful service were just what we needed on a cold November day. I highly recommend it.
Since the moment Alp at the door recommended us to walk in to try the delicious Turkish food,we knew we were at the right place. He is very friendly and welcoming and with the help of the other waiters made our night. Everything was perfect from beginning to end and the turkish gourmet of this particular place is a 5 star. teşekkürler to everyone in this amazing restaurant. Outstanding experience! We were warmly welcomed and had the best table in the restaurant. Our server, Sibel was amazing! All of her suggestions from the specials of the day were absolutely delicious. We started with avocado hummus and a spinach and feta appetizer that were superb. We thoroughly enjoyed the lamb chops and the whole grilled fish from the Mediterranean. We paired our dinner with a fantastic dry red Turkish wine and a Pomegranate Sangria. Sibel was warm, friendly and very attentive. She made wonder dessert suggestion Baklava and almond Turkish pudding with Turkish coffee and tea. Sibel finished our experience with complimentary Turkish candy!
Cozy and beautifully lighted, a small place feels very familiar and intimate.
Very good food both taste and quality of ingredients.
Portions are generous and nicely plated.
The service was outstandingly good.
This would be my go to if I lived closer.
It’s our second time back and we loved it! The liver cubes is worth coming back as well as the avocado hummus. It was creative. The service is amazing with our two servers who were super attentive and gave excellent recommendations. Don’t let it’s non-descript name fool you, this is legit Turkish food!
