This jewel in Islip is a must to go!! From the beautiful bar .. funky/classy vibe atmosphere ..genuinely caring staff to the amazing food!! We walked in to be greeted so warmly to a terrific upbeat soothing guitar player.. headed to the bar and enjoyed beautiful unique cocktails .. next we sat down and was greeted by very attentive welcoming staff.. I ate a delicious special which was Tuna with risotto.. omg!! I have never tasted something so impressively delicious!!!! We had appetizers and salads delicious but... The desserts to die for!!! We went with a group of 6 people so we tried a few.. flourless chocolate cake for not only everyone but the gluten free ppl was amazing .. brownie with ice cream yum .. bread pudding fabulous .. how many times do go somewhere and just want fresh berries and cream that was there too .. I will say even though hard to choose the must try winner... the homemade hot chocolate chip cookie with ice cream was heaven !! Can’t describe in words how amazing!! We weren’t tired and weren’t ready to end the night so we went to the outdoor space for a cigar and late night cocktail!! What a treat!! I must say it was a wonderful night and can’t wait to go back!!! Don’t miss this Jewel on Main Street in the town of Islip!!!

My husband and I had a lovely Sunday brunch-- great bloody mary's, a dozen oysters (from 6 different locations), and the lobster benedict. I definitely recommend. And Rose is a superb server!

Pretty decent seafood joint. A tad pricey but where isn't? At least for 18$ the clam chowder has actual clams in shells as embellishment. The squid ink risotto is a bit salty. Needn't be. A good place for a solo visit and that's always a plus to me. Also, tapas and pizza for the non seafood eaters.

Very very nice place in HK. Ambience is great, loved the interior. Cocktails were very good (get the habanero). Charcuterie was a great start and portions were generous. Oysters were some of the best I’ve had in NY (a bit pricey but the freshness and quality (and maybe the cocktails) made it ok The crudo platter was also good, but next time would probably just get the tuna (that was the best in my opinion) We also got the squid ink risotto— unfortunately did not that a picture but that was killer.

Incredible food and service at Blue! We stumbled upon Blue by chance but we now feel it will become a top 5 restaurant for us. The restaurant was cozy and stylish, each seating location felt unique. Our server, Mihaela, who handled the serving of the entire floor with ease was incredibly kind and attentive. She made us feel like old friends and was a really special part of the dining experience. The kitchen prepared our dishes quickly and everything was perfectly seasoned and at an appropriate temperature. Our cocktails were delicious and the wine selection was perfect for our meals. We would absolutely highly recommend stopping by (especially if Mihaela is working!) and getting anything on the menu. The oysters were the freshest and best tasting we've had in the city!

What an awesome experience! Started T the bar for happy hour. Gabriella was a great bartender and took great care of us. Appys were great, oysters were so fresh. Dinner was outstanding. Highly recommend the bacalao. What a dish! It was awesome.

Came here after the Broadway show. We had a great seafood dinner. Seafood tower and seafood patter, omg, all I can say that we were stuffed. The waitress was nice and fast, no wait time since we came late but still you should make your reservation, I can see this place is very popular during the day. There is also a great bar area.

A great intimate restaurant, with a nice airy white marble interior, and a really nice curved bar near the entrance. The food is priced fairly for the quality that you get. I had the seafood salad which wasn’t cheap, but I thought worth it.

Great fresh seafood. The four of us unanimously agreed the fresh seafood was spot on. The Scallop Carpaccio is absolutely creamy with a perfect blend of saltiness which against the cucumber was harmony on our mouths. We didn’t eat any cooked food (yet) and did not have a drink (yet as well). This was a night of fresh/chilled seafood (except for a cooked half lobster with brandy & ptarmigan chees and a grilled octopus) which hit the spot for us.
