Review La Maison Du Chocolat - New York City

Used Too Good to Go, but even using a discount app, the staff was just as courteous as the full price paying customers. This was my third time and never a problem. Great quality chocolate. I will have to try the in-house dining this holiday season. It's very welcoming and I hear their hot chocolate is amazing.

Today, my husband and I tried your chocolate for the first time and we are very impressed by your products. We made the purchase in New York (Madison Av @ 78th St). We are very lucky because we can easily come back when we want more chocolate! đŸ€Ž How much do I like chocolate from La Maison du Chocolat? It is only possible to compare to the love of good wine - I like both, but dark chocolate will always be my first love! đŸ€Ž

Seriously the most magical place on Madison, Joel the manager is really wonderful, he always helps me pick out the best gifts for my friends and family. I also worked with Arturo, he had been sThe quality of the chocolate is unparalleled I have never tasted a better chocolat, and I’m a foodie :) also you must experience their lounge area, I mean it’s like an oasis of peace and indulgence. Try hot chocolat and eclair. It’s life changing!!

I absolutely loved this place from the moment I walked in. The employees were all very kind and accommodating. I ordered the hot chocolate and received some complimentary chocolates with it, and it was all very delicious. After I sat with a friend inside for an hour, we were handed free sugar-glazed chestnuts as a gift. It was a lovely experience overall that I would recommend to anyone who likes sweets or chocolate.

Without doubt La Maison du Chocolat make the best chocolates in the world, absolutely mouthwatering! And their macarons are pretty excellent also. You also always get a small gift with your purchase, which is a lovely touch!

I had really nice shopping at this place today. Natalia (I hope I spelled it right) was really welcoming and helpful. Their chocolate is amazing and always fresh. They have a variety of different flavors so everyone can find something special. Will be definitely back

Bought about $300 worth of chocolate here. Very expensive, but TOTALLY worth it. The Louis Vuitton of chocolate is how my boss put it. TREAT YOURSELF!! They even gave us some free chocolate after making big purchase.

Yesterday, Friday 11 March I was fortunate to have clicked on the Ap TooGoodToGo and much to my delight there were bags available at that precise moment and I committed to 2. I went over at the appointed time to collect my goodies. I really had no idea on what would be in the bag. Much to my surprise and delight each bag contained 12 assorted macarons and I was in heaven. The 3 ladies who were there couldn’t have more warm and welcoming if they wanted to be. We had some of the macarons with our deserts last night and they were out of this world fantastic. Thanks to “TooGoodToGo” I will now go back as a regular customer! We did go back today as a customer too!

The chocolate was worth every penny, definitely a big fan of dark chocolate but all other flavors were amazing as well

The best chocolate you can find in NYC. This place also has the best macaron ever, better than Laduree in my opinion. The staff are extremely nice and friendly.

I happened upon La Maison du Chocolat Madison after a visit to the Guggenheim. I was searching for a birthday gift for a close friend, an I'm so happy I decided to go inside. The store itself is beautiful, and the staff are amazing: knowledgeable, helpful and kind without being overbearing. They helped me select the perfect gift for my friend and wrapped it beautifully. The chocolates are very special. This is a gem of a place. If you are looking for a gift or a treat for yourself, make sure to stop here!

Buying 3 years for the holiday season. The best chocolates and it’s more of an emotion😀 Finest delicacy. Only concern is - they can keep reward points for their regular customers . Not asking for discounts but alreast store credits

By far the best hot chocolate I've ever had. Truly indescribable and unlike any I've ever had. One you need to sip slowly and carefully. The chocolate itself is very expensive but also incredibly delicious. It's obvious the owners care deeply about their product and only want to sell the absolute best. A must try if you're visiting NYC.

So delicious! Hot chocolate is bitter, so nice!

Positively decadent. Do not go here if you are counting calories. If you want a positively delicious hot chocolate with real whip cream, this is the place to go. My husband and I had to share it, it was so rich. Positively delicious and the staff were very kind, welcoming, and professionall

Last week, famed chocolate shop, La Maison du Chocolat‘s, Upper East Side location closed up shop in order to undergo impressive renovations. The chocolate boutique celebrated their three month closing with an epic bash fit for anyone with a sweet tooth. Master chef Nicolas Cloiseau and Director of US Operations Nora Hovanesian-Mann were both on hand to discuss the renovations (and the chocolate!).

The Madison Avenue location was the first New York City store, which has spurned quite a few other locations around Manhattan. During the three months that the shop will be closed, the boutique will be getting revamped and modernized, and fully equipped with a tea parlour.

To read the full review, head to the blog!
NYC Style And A Little Cannoli
One of my favorite chocolate shops in the city is La Maison du Chocolat. French chocolate is just divine, I have never met one I didn't like! Their shops are just so gorgeous, and many of the locations have seating areas. Pure perfection! I just love French macarons. A great treat while walking around the city, and oh so fun to take home to enjoy as well. How amazing those cookies and chocolates below look? The quality here is just top notch, doesn't compare to Hershey, as much as I am a fan of theirs too! Macarons plus ganache equals amazing! When I walk around the city, I tend to get quite warm, and they make some great cool drinks to enjoy. This one really hit the spot. I could go for one right this second! The packaging is just so lovely, how great would this be to bring home to family and friends? Or take home for yourself to enjoy! I never turn down chocolate, but as I've gotten older, quality is something that has become more important to me. That way I can really appreciate the craftmanship that went into my sweet treat. La Maison du Chocolat has the quality thing down pat.

Top quality chocolate & outstannding service. If you love pralines and have classic taste in chocolate, this is one of the best places in the city. The chocolates are incredibly fresh, well presented, and are of the finest quality.Service is also wonderful. I highly recommend La Maison du Chocolat.

...Mousse Au Chocolat... very chocolaty but not too sweet; texture was indeed silky and fluffy too I'll add, like eating a chocolate whip cloud
Foodish Fetish
We made a visit to the La Maison du Chocolat boutique on Madison Ave. With our love for sweets, we decided to have lunch there! When we walked in, it was quite an amazing sight! Their chocolate was displayed like jewelery, all lined up beautifully and sitting there like rings and pearls. Hey, but don't worry, we didn't eat chocolate for lunch. Instead, we had French Macarons and hot chocolate in their café. Which is, of course, all the healthier!
I Just Want To Eat
Please note that the chocolate was complimentary. However, I was not obliged to post and the opinions expressed in my blog are 100% my own! La Maison Du Chocolat proposed to send me some samples of their Easter collection, crafted by Chef Nicolas Cloiseau. I, of course, accepted, being a big fan of this establishment (great hot cocoa, pastries and chocolates). They sent me some chocolate eggs with the following flavors: Praline with crispy crepe, Almond praline, Praline hazelnut (my favorite), crispy praline. There was also a milk chocolate bunny with a surprise inside: yes, some of these chocolate eggs. Needless to say that these chocolates did not last long... While preparing this post, I checked the Easter collection of La Maison du Chocolat, and was amazed by the creations of Chef Nicolas Cloiseau, such as the atelier: Courtesy La Maison Du chocolat It looks incredible and I do not see how one could eat that! Well, ok, it is good chocolate: I would eat that! I just wish it was al

Txokolate Iluna or “Solemn ganache” – an intense plain dark chocolate ganache with smoky notes...the chocolate was super dark and delicious.
Baking Me Hungry
La Maison Du Chocolat has decadent truffles, chocolate bars, eclairs, chocolate covered nuts and gift baskets, however I was there to address my chocolate and macaron needs. Cacao pods and pastel macarons in the window display Le Pleyel chocolate and almond cakes and the Lemon Quatre-Quarts moist cake with lemon and lemon zest. Boxes of Macarons The large size macarons were $5 and the two flavors featured were Macaron Chocolate, Quito a full-bodied, dark ganache and Macaron Caramel, Rigoletto milk chocolate ganache and lightly salted caramel. It’s never too early to start thinking about Christmas and at La Maison Du Chocolat that is exactly what Master Chef Nicolas Cloiseau has been doing......................................

Holiday shopping is here, so may I suggest that to really impress someone with a sweet tooth, to head on over to La Maison Du Chocolat , either in person at any of the 3 Manhattan locations
Feisty Foodie
This week, I took a break from reviewing beer for a very good reason: macarons! Not the coconut-laden drop cookies; those are macaroons. No, I'm talking about the French sandwich cookies that come in dozens upon dozens of flavors. When FeistyFoodie told m
