I have a problem with Chocolate. I can't get enough of it. This shop has beautiful looking and tasting product. I love giving ( and receiving ) gifts from this place. If you are passing by treat yourself to a piece.
These chocolates are worth every cent! Maison Du Chocolat is a fine French chocolate store with a wide variety in flavours.The French macarons are also amazing!
Last week, famed chocolate shop, La Maison du Chocolat‘s, Upper East Side location closed up shop in order to undergo impressive renovations. The chocolate boutique celebrated their three month closing with an epic bash fit for anyone with a sweet tooth. Master chef Nicolas Cloiseau and Director of US Operations Nora Hovanesian-Mann were both on hand to discuss the renovations (and the chocolate!).
The Madison Avenue location was the first New York City store, which has spurned quite a few other locations around Manhattan. During the three months that the shop will be closed, the boutique will be getting revamped and modernized, and fully equipped with a tea parlour.

I never turn down chocolate, but as I've gotten older, quality is something that has become more important to me. That way I can really appreciate the craftmanship that went into my sweet treat. La Maison du Chocolat has the quality thing down pat.

I absolutely loved this place from the moment I walked in. The employees were all very kind and accommodating. I ordered the hot chocolate and received some complimentary chocolates with it, and it was all very delicious. After I sat with a friend inside for an hour, we were handed free sugar-glazed chestnuts as a gift. It was a lovely experience overall that I would recommend to anyone who likes sweets or chocolate.
Without doubt La Maison du Chocolat make the best chocolates in the world, absolutely mouthwatering! And their macarons are pretty excellent also. You also always get a small gift with your purchase, which is a lovely touch!

Bought about $300 worth of chocolate here. Very expensive, but TOTALLY worth it. The Louis Vuitton of chocolate is how my boss put it. TREAT YOURSELF!! They even gave us some free chocolate after making big purchase.
Yesterday, Friday 11 March I was fortunate to have clicked on the Ap TooGoodToGo and much to my delight there were bags available at that precise moment and I committed to 2. I went over at the appointed time to collect my goodies. I really had no idea on what would be in the bag. Much to my surprise and delight each bag contained 12 assorted macarons and I was in heaven. The 3 ladies who were there couldn’t have more warm and welcoming if they wanted to be. We had some of the macarons with our deserts last night and they were out of this world fantastic. Thanks to “TooGoodToGo” I will now go back as a regular customer! We did go back today as a customer too!

The best chocolate you can find in NYC. This place also has the best macaron ever, better than Laduree in my opinion. The staff are extremely nice and friendly.
