Food was hit and miss. My Corned beef hash was amazing, but the home fries were cold and bland. My eggs were cooked right, but my sons eggs were undercooked based on how they were ordered. I never got a coffee refill. Overall the experience was good.

Classic American breakfast spot! The service was attentive and kind. Food was great and came out fast. We didn’t get to try the bakery items, but they looked awesome. The place was clean and had plenty of booths. It is a tad bit pricey but it’s NYC and to us it was worth it. We’d go back!

No frills 50’s-style diner with burgers that taste amazing! The chefs really care about their burger menu and it shows, the turkey burger with arugula and cumin aioli and red onion is incredible; I’d recommend having it with a fried egg
The fries are not shoestring fries, they’re steak fries which are standard yet extremely fresh

Great experience. I had the Country Omelette and it was delicious. The server was attentive, the atmosphere was as classic Diner as you can get in a NYC store footprint. I'm definitely going to go again if I can.

Great diner experience as we had eaten at so many fancy restaurants that we just wanted a simple diner breakfast. Service was super great here and the food was what we expected and you get plenty of it. We were staying at the Hotel Chelsea (not to be confused with Chelsea Savoy Hotel, lol and this was a short walk away.

We had a group of 5 eat brunch here in November of 2022 and we all really enjoyed the experience. The servers were helpful and attentive, the food was great and there was plenty of it!
Prices are a little high but not too far outside the norm for NYC. They're open 24 hours and had plenty of seats available during the Sunday brunch time when we were there.
Definitely try the French Toast as part of the Hungry Man Breakfast. My wife and I shared that and also added a side of corned beef hash and that was more than enough for both of us.
Our friends ordered omelettes which were plenty big as all of them had leftovers to take home.

This is one of my favorite restaurants to go to. I want breakfast they're open 24 hours except for Mondays which is great to know when you get a taste for something in the middle of the night.

Food and service is phenomenal. Wife got Greek eggs Benedict and I got the chicken and waffles. Food presentation is great and tastes as good as it looks. Been in the area for a few days and not to happy with food and service in other places but Malibu diner hit the spot I was looking for! Definitely will recommend and will be back in the future!

This is a great cozy diner. There is surprisingly lots of seating and you can dine at the counter. The menu is as delicious as it is vast. They also have a good selection of alcohol. The mimosas are some of the best around.

You have to try the French Onion Soup! So delicious. The lamb gyro is also another plus. It was so good, we ate here again on our 3 days in NY.

It was fine. Decent food, but they are charging about the max for what you are getting. Definitely not a terrific value. But the meal was satisfactory. Will I be back? I won't purposely plan a meal there, but I would probably eat there again late night if I wanted a full meal and it was convenient.

Classic old school diner, we absolutely loved it. Slightly hungover and the food totally sorted us out. Great portions. Service also great, really fast. Highly recommended and can't wait to return.

finished seeing a show at Chelsea area and was looking for somewhere open late at night and stumbled upon this diner around 1130pm. Asked the server what they'd recommend me I choose between a skillet and their carbonara pasta and he said the latter, which was a good choice because it was delicious. Came with a salad or soup too and garlic bread. Good service and clean.

Lovely time having breakfast with my husband. He ordered the steak and eggs, was very pleased with it. I got the eggs and turkey sausage with a side of avocado. We decided to seat all the way to the back, it was a little chilly, maybe next time get the middle area. Overall the food was good and the server was very attentive.

Excellent food and great service. I was waiting for my sister to meet me at Malibu Diner. She was late 1 hour & 15 mins. I sat at the Diner and ordered a zinger lemon tea. The wait staff knew I was sitting there for so long. They asked me if I wanted more hot water for my tea. I said yes and he helped me get water 2 times. I ordered the lamb gyro deluxe. Love the the pita that came with it. Soooo delicious. Love this Diner. I highly recommend it.

Malibu diner was our favorite spot to have breakfast. It has the typical American diner-atmosphere from the olden days. The food is good, drinks as well, but the vibe is even better: people walkin' in and out, the staff knows everybody by name and has a oneliner or a joke for everyone. Loved it!

We love this restaurant and make a point of visiting it at least three or four times every visit to the City. The staff are wonderful, and the portions plentiful and filling. On our last night of vacation we like to get a dessert to take back to the hotel.

We stay there Last Week for the 3rd Time (After 2012 & 2014). It is our favorite Diner for Breakfast when we visit NYC. Every Day it was our Place to Go.
The French Toast, the Greek Omelete and so on are so delicious. The Staff are very friendly and helpful.

One of our must visit diners in USA<br/><br/>When in New York we always come here for a meal. It is a traditional diner with a great busy feel with staff always in conversation. The food is good and plentiful portions which we always struggle to finish. The cakes all look amazing too. It never disappoints!

After a joke of a job fair I attended in the area I was hankering for some lunch in an air conditioned joint. Wearing a suit on a 90 degree NYC day really sucks!<br/><br/>Decent diner with plenty of lunch special options. <br/><br/>Typical huge diner menu.<br/><br/>Fairly priced for the area. <br/><br/>Plenty of seating as this place is large for a NYC diner space.<br/><br/>Attentive service.<br/><br/>Open 24 hours a day.<br/><br/>Hit the spot on a warm NYC afternoon. Soup and sandwich combo was just what I needed.<br/><br/>Bathroom could have been a bit cleaner. Even though, I still dropped the kids off at the pool after my meal here, then headed on out into the big city feeling as if I dropped a weight class.
