Excellent food and great service. I was waiting for my sister to meet me at Malibu Diner. She was late 1 hour & 15 mins. I sat at the Diner and ordered a zinger lemon tea. The wait staff knew I was sitting there for so long. They asked me if I wanted more hot water for my tea. I said yes and he helped me get water 2 times. I ordered the lamb gyro deluxe. Love the the pita that came with it. Soooo delicious. Love this Diner. I highly recommend it.
We had breakfast here 2 days on a row! Awesome place, great food and the staff are extremely nice and attentive! Will definitely eat here again next time we’re in NYC!
One of our must visit diners in USA
When in New York we always come here for a meal. It is a traditional diner with a great busy feel with staff always in conversation. The food is good and plentiful portions which we always struggle to finish. The cakes all look amazing too. It never disappoints!
Great little place - not very big, but appeared to be very popular. Great chocolate chip cannoli and egg cream - so New York!! Loved it!! Return soon
Good coffee, breakfast was great with tasty potatoes. I look forward to trying some of the cakes and sweets on display. It is open 24/7 and staff are always friendly.
Food was hit and miss. My Corned beef hash was amazing, but the home fries were cold and bland. My eggs were cooked right, but my sons eggs were undercooked based on how they were ordered. I never got a coffee refill. Overall the experience was good.
Classic American breakfast spot! The service was attentive and kind. Food was great and came out fast. We didn’t get to try the bakery items, but they looked awesome. The place was clean and had plenty of booths. It is a tad bit pricey but it’s NYC and to us it was worth it. We’d go back!
No frills 50’s-style diner with burgers that taste amazing! The chefs really care about their burger menu and it shows, the turkey burger with arugula and cumin aioli and red onion is incredible; I’d recommend having it with a fried egg
The fries are not shoestring fries, they’re steak fries which are standard yet extremely fresh

Great experience. I had the Country Omelette and it was delicious. The server was attentive, the atmosphere was as classic Diner as you can get in a NYC store footprint. I'm definitely going to go again if I can.
The food was good, the size was enough, the waiter was nice - so I would recommend it.
Great diner experience as we had eaten at so many fancy restaurants that we just wanted a simple diner breakfast. Service was super great here and the food was what we expected and you get plenty of it. We were staying at the Hotel Chelsea (not to be confused with Chelsea Savoy Hotel, lol and this was a short walk away.
Bring your appetite - plenty of food for the money and great service as well.
We had a group of 5 eat brunch here in November of 2022 and we all really enjoyed the experience. The servers were helpful and attentive, the food was great and there was plenty of it!
Prices are a little high but not too far outside the norm for NYC. They're open 24 hours and had plenty of seats available during the Sunday brunch time when we were there.
Definitely try the French Toast as part of the Hungry Man Breakfast. My wife and I shared that and also added a side of corned beef hash and that was more than enough for both of us.
Our friends ordered omelettes which were plenty big as all of them had leftovers to take home.
This is one of my favorite restaurants to go to. I want breakfast they're open 24 hours except for Mondays which is great to know when you get a taste for something in the middle of the night.
Food and service is phenomenal. Wife got Greek eggs Benedict and I got the chicken and waffles. Food presentation is great and tastes as good as it looks. Been in the area for a few days and not to happy with food and service in other places but Malibu diner hit the spot I was looking for! Definitely will recommend and will be back in the future!
Nice diner, expensive but so is anything these days in the city. Service was great.
