Usually when I go to Popeye's I'm expecting to receive the same trash service (Harvey& marrero locations) But since I was in the Algiers area I went and had and placed a mobile order and again I wasn't expecting nothing to go smooth because of previous experiences. When I pulled in the driveway I see the line with long for drive-thru and a couple people were inside but I was prepared to expect the worst. Unfortunately that wasn't the case here. The service was prompt and quick You can see the staff was working hard and together and I didn't even have to wait in line They were able to hand me my mobile order everything was correct and fresh. I have never been so impressed. I didn't think to take pictures until after I dug in and trust me they had way more fries than that.

Popeyes ghost wings are like the original Popeyes spicy chicken recipe-- which seemed to have disappeared after all the different companies owning the trademark name--to the point I stopped buying. The only reason I tried it this week was on the recommendation of a grievance and I'm glad she did.
However, at the restaurant we visited, they only do driveup, even tho COVID IS OVER. THE DOOR WAS LOCKED - - ONLY 4 PERSONS ALLOWED IN STORE (in New Orleans). (McD is the same way--only drive up in my neighborhood.) It took more than 15 minutes to fill 2 orders because they weren't frying enough wings which was probably on a run that day--more wings than chicken being ordered. At the windows we were told it would be 7 minute wait time. HOWEVER I WILL BE BUYING THE GHOST WINGS AS LONG AS THEY ARE AVAILABLE.
Ordered 4pcs., 1 breast, 3 WINGS Spicy w/ red beans and rice, biscuit. I received 3 pcs. of chicken and side w biscuit. 1 wing was missing
My food was appealing to the appetite and palate. Hot and spicy. Hmmmm good.

EVERY EVERY - single time I come here - the food is OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!! Fresh hot chicken, perfectly textured red beans and buttery soft biscuits! The line is always long not because it’s necessarily a long wait( because once I make my order at the window it’s a fair amount of time before I get a fresh hot yummy greasy order), but because everyone comes back here over and over again because it’s so damn delicious!!!!!
They have always been fair and nice as far as attitude! No complaints for busy hardworking people busy doing their job. :) my order is always correct.
I’m sorry to see this place as a 3.7 because I come here often as I live down the street (at least about once a month or every 3 months) and each time I pop on by, I’ve had a 5 star experience. I have lived down the street from this place for about over a decade.

Very busy restaurant, especially the drive-thru.
Had been ill. Didn't want heavy fast food but needed something quick. Ordered just red beans. The line was long as usual but it took 11 minutes from when the manager took my order at my car when through the pickup window. Too much rice but the beans were piping hot and fresh. I don't eat Popeyes but the beans are always a treat!
This was a first time experience for my family ordering food in the company's flagship city. Everything was fresh and cooked perfectly. The staff exhibited southern hospitality. The location was very busy but the line moved right along.
Great food great people. Of course the drive line is long, but they handle it beautifully.
I suggest going inside if you want to order from the Popeyes. In the past we always mobile ordered for drive thru and it did take a very long time but when we order for pick-up inside they bagged our food when we said we are picking up a mobile order. We were in and out within 5 minutes. The fish sandwich was delicious as always😁 so sad that it will go away soon 🥲
