Next to a college Stadium so it makes the game day experience even better. Best damn root beer I've ever had in my 39 years of living

The food and the root beer were really good. But the lady that took our order was kind of grumpy and acted like she just really didn't want to be there.

Super quality old school diner with AMAZING root beer, solid burgers, and a great vibe. Can't beat the vintage signage.

The staff here were so very friendly and awesome. Happened upon this diner and it was so charming. The food was delicious and the authentic root beer float was to die for. Came in and placed my order and the waitress behind the counter was super friendly. She asked for my name to attach it to my order and I answered her, “Herb” and she asked if I left Peaches at home. I told her no she was across the street in an awesome comic book store. Within minutes the line grew so long and the parking lot filled. So totally worth the wait.

This place is "haut de gamme" in so many ways. First, it is an authentic throw-back to the days of The drive in malt shop. Think: girls on skates and the tray hanging on your car window. The skates and trays are no longer allowed (OSHA?) but the look is still there. Then the staff are friendly beyond compare. (I'm looking at you, Larry!) The music is great. And to top it all off, the food is excellent. Try their daily specials or the Lot-o-burger.

Every college/university has a reasonably priced burger spot close by. This is one for Tulane Universit according to our son. I did not have the burger today, but the egg bowl with chicken, potatoes, and cheese was really good. The biscuit was buttery and perfect. I tasted my husband's pancakes, and they were good, too. Our son had French toast sticks and bacon.

Really good, juicy burgers in a cool 1950's era diner. I Love it!

Went in to get a roast beef poboy combo. I watched her make it. If you have an allergy, be careful, they cook everything on the same grill. The meat is proportioned and refrigerated. It's then put on a grill, chopped and turned. The bread is dressed, then the meat added. Gravey is then poured in top. Ordered the fries with no salt, those were for me. And ordered a rootbeer. The staff were extremely friendly. 80% of the people coming in were ordering burgers so maybe they are really good, I'll never know, don't eat beef. The other 20% ordered redbeans but they sold out fast. Give them a try, maybe even write a review.

Every time we are in NOLA, we drive by, and it's always closed. The towering float always beckons me. The burgers are good, the onion rings are crispy, the floats, shakes, malts, & fries are exactly as they should be - tasty!! The service was fantastic! I told the cashier it was our first time in, and she was super helpful! We'll be back. 🤗
