Beautiful atmosphere, great food, reasonably priced. They did a great job of making us feel both pampered by the great service and at home by the friendly conversation. Save room for the bread pudding!

Love the atmosphere and wonderful creole cuisine in the heart of uptown. Very reasonably priced. Looking forward to returning as soon as possible! Can't beat the Sunday brunch!

There were three in our party. We were seated very quickly. The table that we were taken to did not have a clear view of the band, so I asked for a table with a better view and the hostess, graciously got us a better table. Our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was willing to take care of anything we asked. Having been raised in southern Mississippi and having access to the original Chappy's. The food was everything I expected it to be. Fresh and well prepared. I had the seafood platter and everything was excellent. The other two had the special, which was grouper topped with crab meat and shrimp. I saw many reviews that gave the food poor review, all I can figure is those people had never had real fresh prepared seafood. If you go, you must try the Crab bisque. That's the best thing you will ever put in your mouth. If you order dessert, prepare to share. The portions were huge. They will put it in a to go box when you can't eat it all. If you have never try Chappy's, You owe it to yourself to try it. Real seafood lover, Cajun food lover, for that matter people who know real good food, will love Chappy's. Those people that wrote the bad reviews probably think McDonald's is a seafood restaurant and the Wendy's spicy chicken sandwich is cajun food.

If you want a special night out this is great place, food was outstanding for the price. There history with stories and pictures were nice touch and to my surprise they knew relatives of mine from Mississippi location!! We had very large group and several elderly celebrating birthdays and they made them feel so good. The owner came out and was so nice and comical, we loved his place and his wife.
