I am not even exaggerating when I say that I had the best meal of my entire life here. We were down in New Orleans for my 30th and we ate here. The tacos I had… nothing even compares to how amazing they were. The restaurant was beautiful and the staff really nice. I’m telling you, go try their tacos. It will change your life.

Interesting atmosphere that feels urban and fresh. We tried the queso dip and the papas fritas as appetizers which were both excellent. We went with tacos as our main course, steak and carnitas. The steak was well cooked and the carnitas was surprisingly spicy, we loved both! The star of the show was the churros!

Good pick for upscale Mexican in a hip modern environment. Would be five stars if the meal didn't feel so rushed. 2 tacos per order which are enough if you pair with a side or app. Those churros were best thing about it. They use the Cafe du Monde beignet mix and they're even better.

I loved this meal, the food was awesome! The restaurant did seem a bit short staffed for a Saturday morning, as there was only one server, bartender, and host when we arrived at 11:45. The service was amazing despite those challenges. We ordered the French press coffee, a Jardin, Carnitas tacos, and the fish tacos. The coffee was ok, I really wish they would've had the cold brew available for anything but the mixed drinks. I love that they offer almond milk with the French press though! The Jardin was a fresh cocktail that tasted wonderful. The carnitas tacos were stuffed and amazing. I made a bit of a mess, the sauce was everywhere, but I wouldn't have had it any other way. The fish tacos were definitely lacking in pizzazz and I wish they would've had more of the salsa. The tortilla also was a little hard. I haven't had good authentic mexican food for a while, and I'm so happy with my experience at this retaurant. I want to return to try more things for sure!

This place is definitely something to try out, especially if you live in the neighborhood. The atmosphere is very relaxing. The drinks are fabulous! One word of caution, the chicken tacos were very SPICY so if you’re not expecting it or prepared it will catch you off guard like it did me. I like hot food but it was out there, other than that. Everything else was fantastic, especially the service, show some love to them!!!!

Came here with my boyfriend for dinner and was highly impressed! Music was FANTASTIC, staff was incredibly kind and had wonderful energy, and the food was delicious (especially the margaritas)! Will definitely be coming here again. Hope to see a few more black bean / vegetarian based dishes too!
