Are you hungry? Do you like fried food? This is the place. Great spot for a group. Food is fresh and served quickly. This location has less charm than the original spot, but the atmosphere is fun and laid back. The oysters were great. Though tempting, the seafood tower is way too much food even for 4 hungry people. It’s bigger than it looks.

Deanie’s has a really hip 1950’s vibe. Art deco touches throughout. Not my personal favorite, yet I very much enjoyed the trip back in time. Had the Buckhouse Salad with a house fig dressing, which was absolutely the best. Seafood, crab salad seemed fresh, buttery & wonderful. People seemed to be enjoying themselves which always makes the experience better. Prices were absolutely reasonable for the quality delivered !

Had an amazing dinner here today. Had a wonderful server who made sure to let us know the daily specials. Food was top notch. Some of the best seafood we’ve have in New Orleans. I am picky and a chef so that’s the level of picky I am talking about. The stuffed mushrooms were great ( needed salt and pepper and some lemon) the charbroiled oysters were AMAZING! Had tons of flavor and with lemon juice, it brought it to life! The crab remoulade was okay, needed lots of lemon , salt and pepper. The gumbo ( shrimp) was great. I would say, anyone else would give this a solid 10/10. Only reason I found faults was because I’m a chef myself. Great service, food and ambiance

My friend's always talk about Deanie's and I think it definitely lives up to the hype. Our waitress was super friendly too. She told us about mixing the butter with hot sauce to enjoy with the boiled potatoes. I had the soft shell crab with fries. It was just the right amount of food to be set for the rest of the night.
