Seaworthy

Want to thank our server on Christmas Eve for being so kind and teaching us so much! It was my husband’s first time eating fresh raw oysters and I am so glad he got to experience them here. Our server was knowledgeable and patient with our learning curve. My lobster roll was absolutely fantastic. Also, they accommodated us on a holiday without a reservation which was very kind and considerate of them. Very lounge, chill, have a great glass of wine type of vibe.

Get yourself here and eat the shrimp and grits. It's light and flavourful until the last bite. I might add more cheese to the fish but I'm a cheese head. Perfect amount of shrimp with the dish. You don't feel like there is too much or not enough for the amount of grits you get. I would eat this dinner again. I had a ginger beer with my drink.

We went here mainly because they had oysters. We didn’t have a reservation or know what to expect. They were pretty packed but the staff worked with us and we were able to get a seat on the patio. It was an amazing atmosphere and very chill. We mainly came for the oysters but the menu looked so good that we had several small plates. We had the crudo trio, bread, and ceviche. We couldn’t go wrong. We also had the BLT cocktail and it blew our mind. I would highly recommend to any foodie.

I ate at Seaworthy this past weekend. I shared a seafood tower and the cauliflower dish with my husband. Immediately after we placed our order the server came back and stated that one of the 4 items on the tower, the ceviche, wasn't available. I was extremely disappointed by that, but they offered to give us more shrimp, so we just kept our order in. The seafood tower made up for all the confusion! It was fresh and delicious. They ended up bringing us more oysters than shrimp but we asked for that to be corrected. Of everything on the tower, 1 lobster, 4 shrimp (we had a few extra), and 8 oysters (we had extra), I liked the oysters the least. We had 4 varieties of oysters, one variety I loved, the other I liked, the other 2 tasted kind of fishy, I didn't like those. The lobster was some of the best I've ever had, as were the shrimp. The cauliflower dish was delivered to us cold and the curry sauce was off putting and it overpowered the delicate flavor of the cauliflower. Also, it was listed as a cauliflower steak but came out as a pile of cauliflower florets. They should really consider revamping that dish. It's a bit too dark in there for my taste and the tables are really small. Overall though, this place is definitely worth a try. Some of the best seafood I've ever had!

Phenomenal oyster selection allowing you to enjoy West coast, East coast and gulf oysters without leaving the area. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. It's a very intimate location that feels like you went back in time after you walked through the door. We enjoyed watching the street cars going by as we enjoyed our food. Paid parking is easy and across the street. My wife and I came here on our anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Happy hour is definitely a great time to try the menu and the staff made great suggestions for wine pairing with our food. It does get loud, but if you can get in early it's not a problem.
