We arrived a few minutes early and got some drinks at the bar a few doors down. At 7:30 promptly the door opened and we were welcomed upstairs where we were led outside on the balcony to meet Mister Gregory and staff. He introduced everyone and gave some personal information and then talked at length about the meal. Very nice. Once back inside the guests were seated at a communal table where crab appetizers were waiting. Soft drinks were offered. Then the shrimp boil was brought in and put out on the table. Yum! Fantastic, fresh and well prepared. Dessert and coffee (with an offered shot of praline liquor) followed. Recommended for an entertaining night out.

Great company, great host in Mr Gregory as well as his helpers Bill and Bill. You are treated like family the moment you arrive. Glass of bubbles, a little history and mounds of shrimp with great sides followed by the BEST chicory coffee I had during my stay in New Orleans. Miss DiDi entertained us with a medley of showtunes. Just wonderful!

We got a chance to meet and talk to Mr. Gregory during our tour. We called him Mr G. This is a warm ,nice, and knowledgeable man who is the heart of New Orleans. His food was fantastic ,the conversation was fantastic. I 100% think that everyone who visits New Orleans and the French Quarter should stop at Mr Gregory's

Do NOT miss this!! The Boil is incredible! Fresh and delicious. Mister Gregory himself includes you in the entire process, explaining where the critters come from and how we help them by eating them (totally worked for me)! The food is delicious and the host lovable!! Worth every penny and all the memory!

Super nice guy that worked there. I ordered an avocado toast because there is a limited menu. I wasn't too thrilled when it was placed in front of me. That is until I took the first bite. OMG! It had so much flavor and was one of the best things I've ever tasted! I was there to have breakfast before I caught a walking tour. We were offered a free refill of coffee before we left. I thought that was so nice!

We stopped in before a tour in the area. We were pleasantly surprised to find a breakfast po' boy that was delicious! Friendly service, ample space, worth your time to stop in!

Mister Gregory's is a chic little breakfast/lunch spot in the Quarter. When I need a change of pace from my usual lunch places, I stop by here. The tomato bisque is a favorite. Just had breakfast for lunch there today; the waffles are divine. Baked eggs and a side of fresh veggies rounded out my brunch. All the coffees are excellent.

Incredible place! Best desserts ever, if you like French baked goods check it out. The gentleman that works the later shift is superb, however the art kids in the morning are rude, uneducated regarding the menu, and failures of the culinary world. I went in one evening for sweets and had incredible service and food from the baker working. He had just pulled out some incredible pastries and was quick to offer them to me, was very pleasant and inspired me to come back. The food was absolutely perfect. The next morning I went for breakfast and had less than mediocre service. The two art kids working had no idea what my menu order consisted of or how to make it, were too busy advertising an upcoming art show to pull my toast from the oven before it burned and then served it to me black. While I was trying to scrape of part of the char, one was staring at me with a very offended expression instead of offering me a fresh batch, or even apologizing.
