Great restaurant and bar located in the heart of New Orleans! Great food and drinks! Service was excellent and very friendly! We shared the New Orleans Style BBQ Smoked Ribs and they were fantastic! Also had a side salad that was really good. Clean establishment with a great atmosphere. Very well run restaurant! Highly recommend stopping here for a drink or meal when you are in the downtown New Orleans area!
I was there in a day full of Chinese people and the line was almost outside. The service at the bar was awesome. Very fast and delicious. People were very kind and cordial. Meat was perfect.
I had a delightful dining experience at the Ugly Dog Saloon & BBQ Restaurant in New Orleans, LA. The pulled pork and Mac & cheese were absolutely amazing, and the service was top-notch. The only downside was the restaurant's temperature being a bit too warm, which slightly affected my comfort. Despite that, it was a fantastic meal, and I'd definitely recommend it.
Man have I missed Southern food and UGLY DOG SALOON & BBQ did not disappoint. A plate of their burnt ends with some jambalaya and potatoe salad was the best food I've eaten in months. Glad I stopped in.

One of my favorite places to stop for BBQ. Great prices amazing flavors and overall great experience. They have comedy nights, trivia, which make it a great place to eat drink and spend Time with friends! I always try to get a drink in their signature cup as a souvenir
The food here is absolutely amazing! And so is the staff! Super friendly! Best burger I have tasted in a while!
Nice beers, good vibe, but food was so-so (I tried ribs, tortillas, burnt ends, and jambalaya as a side dish). My friend had an alligator sausage and it was good.
I never really think of barbecue when I come to New Orleans but I was really surprised by this bar like barbecue place.
I will let my pictures do the talking very different, Very good. Loved the burnt ends, biscuits were amazing a meal in itself, the french fries and the coleslaw 🤤 Working at the convention center this is very easy to get to and convenient, fast service will definitely be back next time I’m in town.
Stopped in here at lunch today. Note: you have to walk up and order at the bar. I had the combo platter with pulled pork and smoked sausage. My sides were jambalaya and mac and cheese. My favorite things on the plate were the smoked sausage, cheese biscuit, and mac and cheese. The other food on the plate was good as well, but those three really stood out to me. Nice atmosphere and the food came out quickly. I would definitely recommend this place!
