I came to New Orleans for the first time and this was my food spot . I stopped for a lunch after a long flight. We got the tables pretty quick . The waitress was quick to take the order and food was delivered to our table quickly . We ordered Rockefeller oysters and a sea food platter . It was delicious and tasty . I would visit it again

I had a great dinner. The original plan was to simply have Gallier’s Special and Cup of Gumbo with wine, but everything was so delicious that I ended up adding a red Snapper as well. The oysters were very well prepared, and both the gumbo and the fish dish were excellent. The house wine seemed well-chosen too. When I visited around 7:30 PM, it was almost full, but the staff kindly guided me so I could eat at the bar. Most of all, I want to praise CJ’s service. As a traveler who is not fluent in English, I had no trouble ordering, and CJ kept asking if the food was okay, which made me feel comfortable. I’m quite shy and feel like I couldn’t express my gratitude enough, so I wanted to convey my thanks through this review.

Loved this place. Went here twice on my trip to NOLA because it was my favourite. Staff & food were both great. I highly recommend the red snapper and charbroiled oysters.

One of the best poboys I've had in New Orleans! To be fair this is my second visit but I have had a decent amount to-date but man this one was so good, it eas overflowing with shrimp, it eas fresh and the sauce on top was great. I had it with a great cup of red beans and rice on the side. Shout out to the toasted bread they put on top, I didn't need it at all but after having it, I needed it. The Hurricane was great as well. Great restaurant. I was already being greedy but I wish I would have been able to try the charbroiled oysters but there was no way I needed more food.

Wow, I've always loved seafood but didn't like raw oysters. Apparently I've never had GREAT raw oysters until this place! Myself and a group of colleagues were in town for a conference and this place was recommended. It did not disappoint.

We had a really delicious dinner here. We started with some chargrilled oysters. I love that cheesy, garlic sauce. Then I had the Taste of New Orleans (gumbo, jambalaya and red beans and rice). All were great. My brother had a seafood penne. Very tasty. Our dessert of cheesecake and chocolate mousse cake was only ok.

Really great oyster selection as well as other fried sea food. Really loved the fried crab and the creole oysters. Great quality, especially for the price. I’d recommend Gallier’s to anyone looking for fresh and tasty local fare.

Perfect food on the run kind of place. Good food, great service, no bells or whistles needed. I was looking for a later dining establishment. Sat at the bar and the bartender was super attentive, and low key. The oysters rock have enough butter on the platter to slow your heart rate, but talk about comfort food! If you’re looking for a quick good bite, definitely stop in.

We had a great experience celebrating my wife's 40th birthday dinner. The food was great and full of flavor. More importantly, the management and service staff was excellent and exceeded my expectations. They normally don't do large parties, but they went above and beyond to accommodate. Excellent job!

Loved the experience here! The hostess was thoughtful and recommended sitting at the bar due to the wait being a bit. It's not like she just said I'd recommend the bar. She actually followed us over to the bar and made sure we were comfortable. Then there's the bartender. We noticed he was super busy but he still made time to squeeze in a few orders and apologized knowing he couldn't take care of us entirely. I can understand that and I appreciated the sincerity that he'd actually apologize. The food was great and it was delivered in a timely manner. Definitely recommend this place!
