To be honest, I probably should've taken more pictures but there were so many people in the restaurant, my introverted self could not but I did take the most important ones though and that is the food. We got ourselves a chicken quesadilla, a classic dish and some Diablo Tacos, it sounded like it was something spicy but it wasn't really all that, more like sweet and sour instead of the spicy but no problem, I was into the salsa and chips they gave us. Service was nice, mexican restaurants are always on the top of my list and there used to be another Superior Grill near Hwy 280 in Hoover, Alabama. However they shut that down for some reason because maybe this restaurant is only a Louisiana exclusive, who knows for sure 👍

I really like this place. They make their own chips and salsa. The food is always plentiful and comes out hot and fresh. They make great margaritas and have a very good wait staff.

Title: A Captivating Culinary Experience at Superior Seafood in New Orleans! Review: I recently had the pleasure of dining at Superior Seafood in New Orleans, and I must say, it was an absolute delight from start to finish. The restaurant's ambiance, attentive service, and, of course, the exquisite flavors of their dishes left a lasting impression on me. To begin, I had the Crawfish Beignets as an appetizer, and they were simply outstanding. The beignets were perfectly golden and crispy on the outside, while the inside revealed a succulent filling bursting with the flavors of tender crawfish. Each bite was a harmonious blend of textures and tastes, and the accompanying dipping sauce added a delightful tang that complemented the dish splendidly. For my entree, I opted for the Blackened Redfish topped with crawfish etouffee, served over a bed of whipped potatoes and corn maque choux. The presentation alone was a feast for the eyes, and the flavors exceeded my highest expectations. The blackened redfish was flawlessly seasoned, with a delightful char that added depth to its succulent flesh. The crawfish etouffee, generously ladled over the fish, was a symphony of rich flavors, showcasing the natural sweetness of the crawfish. The whipped potatoes were velvety smooth, and the corn maque choux provided a delightful sweetness and crunch. Each component of the dish worked in perfect harmony, creating a truly memorable culinary experience. What truly sets Superior Seafood apart is their commitment to using fresh, high-quality ingredients, evident in every bite. The attention to detail in flavor combinations and presentation is truly commendable. The knowledgeable and friendly staff went above and beyond to ensure my dining experience was exceptional, providing recommendations and answering any questions I had. Whether you're a seafood aficionado or simply looking to indulge in a remarkable dining experience in New Orleans, Superior Seafood is an absolute must-visit. Their Crawfish Beignets and Blackened Redfish are culinary masterpieces that will leave you craving more. Prepare to be captivated by the flavors of Louisiana and the warm hospitality that Superior Seafood effortlessly embodies.

I took my daughter to this restaurant just to get out and do something and we enjoyed it. The food is good and the vibe is also nice. The only drawback is their menu because it's super long and they don't specify the appetizers. Our service was pretty good to say it was a busy Sunday afternoon. I had tempura shrimp tacos which were delicious and my daughter had the steak and chicken fajitas. The chicken could have been sliced better, it was big chunks, but she enjoyed it. The overall experience was nice.

I had grilled shrimp tacos with steamed vegetables. Everything was delicious. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the grilled corn on the cob. The corn was from frozen and you could tell when you ate it. I would have preferred fresh shrimp with the tacos. They used small frozen shrimp but they really tasted fantastic. I will definitely be back. I've been here before and I will come again!

Have dined here and/or sat at the bar to watch sports many times over 15+ years. Last night stopped in for dinner after several months absence. Updated menu! Check it out! We thoroughly enjoyed the chicken salad and the seven-layer salad. Thanks to Sam for excellent service!

What a fun texmex restaurant. The food is really good and the margaritas are even better. Our waiter was a little slow, but the tasty food made up for it. Great atmosphere. There queso is delish.
