Thinking of these fantastic blue crab 🦀 beignets; I had a wonderful visit and definitely recommend coming in for lunch or dinner.
I have had savoury donuts before but savoury beignets were a first. These were packed with shredded and seasoned blue crab and fried perfectly and seasoned with salt.
I had a side of stone ground grits and a glass of dry Riesling for this afternoon snack. La Petite Grocery has an incredible menu that I wish I had more space for.

Great restaurant in the bustling area of the Garden District. They have great blue crab beignets and delicious cocktails. I was able to just walk in a grab a seat at the bar but I'd recommend making a reservation for a table since this place can fill up quick.

What an amazing little restaurant smack in the middle of the arts district. Such elevated and delicious food. The service was amazing and the cocktails were amazing. Do yourself a favor and stop in here.

I was kind of disappointed with the menu at first. I end up to order without any expectations.
Everything was good!!! Except the chicken breast. I didn’t like the sauce.
The room is pretty loud. But the service is great, the restaurant look very frenchy! I loved it!

Dinner was delightful at LPG. We shared a few dishes between us and everything was delicious. Portions were a little on the smaller side.
I loved the crab beignets! And the ricotta dumplings!
The tuna tartare, beets, and fish was also amazing. Couldn't fault the food.
The staff were attentive and helpful.
For dessert we got three - and loved the pecan tart and the butterscotch!

Very pleasant and friendly staff. The Watermelon & Cucumber Chilled Soup was such a pleasant surprise. It was refreshing and light and the perfect way to begin to cool down for a lunch break. The Chicken Salad sandwich was good and the fries were such a salty treat. It was a very nice and pleasant meal.

What can I say that hasn't been said? Food, excellent. Drinks, same. Service, outstanding (behind the bar, Hannah, was outstanding, super friendly n efficient...as was young man wo - sorry!!! - I didn't get his name). Really, one of those rare occasions when all is excellent to perfect. This place lives up to the reputation. Excellent. I'll come here each time in NOLA. BTW, had boudin balls n red snapper specials. Really. really good. Another big standout in a city with many!

My partner and I's first experience at La Petite Grocery was exceptional. The food quality alone is worth the price of admission. Add into that the ambiance, positive service, and overall flavors of the dishes and you have a winning combination. We cannot wait to come back and try more!

I want give this restaurant 5 stars . The food was really good and the service was spot on with suggestions.
We had a Sunday brunch; I ordered the shrimp and grits. I enjoyed the grits... and all 4 of the shrimp. But just 4? Maybe the kitchen missed 2... at least 1...?
I'd certainly go back and give La Petite another try. Reservations are highly recommended.
