Nice little fast food place. But if you haven't checked out the menu, your options are really only chicken tenders and a couple varieties of fries. Not really a terrible thing if you're really good at both, which this place seems to be. Only complaint is with the sauces. Lots of homemade options, but you only get two with the combos. You'll need at least another one ($) with anything more than 3 tenders.

Delicious fries! As a Dutch guy I definitely appreciate good Belgian fries. The fresh cut potatoes give some much taste to the fries. Golden Chips has a bunch of original sauses to add, for example the peppernaise, a mayonaise with peppers. The fries were a bit to salty, which wasn't necessary. Also the have a variety of fried chicken on the menu.

Got the 5 finger fish combo. For food prices in the quarter, it's on par with other fast options. Still way too expensive for a family budget. The fish was battered just right but the texture and consistency of the meat wasn't spot on. The star of the meal is the fries. We'll just get those next time. Tried the aoli and chipotle sauces. Both were good but the fries were amazing by themselves. So 2-3 stars for the fish and no drink refills (cans and bottles only lowers their cost--i get that). Six stars out of five for the fries. So they get a 4. Staff were friendly. Seating for only about 4-5 tables. Single restroom was good to very good by quarter standards.

All of their chips and chicken are prepared fresh to order. They have good prices and great service. These are some of the best fries in New Orleans. Hands down the best fries in the quarter. They don't have alcohol, but I don't think they have a problem if you enjoy an outside drink while you wait and eat.

golden chips makes excellent belgian fries, crispy fried yuca and sauces. the staff are friendly and helpful. vegetarians can feel safe as they are careful to keep the meat and vegetables separate as well as being very helpful in checking labels for food allergies. they offer a frequent customer rewards card which i have no trouble filling because they make delicious food. if you are looking for a veg friendly place that makes affordable tasty fries with a selection of house made sauces, i highly recommend this restaurant.
