Place is awesome, all kind of food you get, spicy, medium, fried, grill, lamb, beef, seafood, I have never seen this kind of Buffett. Vegas buffet is even nothing, They take all kind of credit cards. Love the place and people
Seriously the best buffet of ANY cuisine in the twin cities. Always me go-to when I visit family here.
Private parking lot. We went during the weekday lunch buffet about $35 for two not sure if drink is included or not but we just went with water.
Tons of variety different meats, pastas, rices, salads, and my favorite the dessert. You’ll be full for the remainder of the day after coming but oh so worth it.
Also very large inside and tons of high chairs.
As others have mentioned I’ve purchased the platter for 2 in the past this is also a great value! Definitely will feed more than 2.
This was one of the best places I been too in Minneapolis. Family and friends had a great time there and enjoyed the food. The owner and employees were friendly and very helpful. The food was fresh. Kept on getting back for seconds. I will be returning here again.
Middle Eastern and North African comfort food. A very satisfying buffet with lots of options The Samosas are the best I have had The gyro meat is super flavorful almost an intense savoriness. The desert buffet is varied and not typical buffet fare. There is some american comfort food as well but it doesn't hold a candle to the other selections. The items are not labeled. If you have allergies, nothing is labeled, might be wise to skip it. The drink service was slow. They also have menu items A good value. Fantastic food. The decorations are spare and the seating is bare bones but serviceable. Very clean! Only one stall in the Ladies restroom. I had to wait in line to wash my hands. A very small parking lot. No handicap parking.
Pros:
- Chicken is juicy and flavorful
- BBQ ribs are addicting
- Mango Drink was delicious
- Okra is blissful
- Almost all the desserts are total comfort food
- Service is quick and friendly
- Insane value if you bring a hungry stomach
Cons:
-Salmon was a bit bland and skin was soggy, I wish it was pan fried
- Water was slightly dripping from the ceiling where we were sitting, it wasn't enough to ruin the experience but it was noticeable
Overall, 5 stars for the value, quality, and love put in the food. I thought this could use more attention on Google reviews so I took some pictures to help show out.
Gyro sandwich was fantastic. The amount of meat they put in was so generous. Very rich flavor, more traditional which I like. We also tried a falafel sandwich and this one was more unique compared to others we had before. It was coriander-heavy and very little parsley, but it was tasty and again they stuffed so much of it in the sandwich.
It seemed most customers were having their buffet while we did a takeout. Very friendly staff members. I will definitely be coming back for more gyros.
I asked how much for the buffet and when the young man working at the register told me $23. I was not rude or anything but that was to expensive and I walked out. I than heard the door I had just exited out open......it was who I assumed to be the owner. He asked what the young fella had told/quoted me for a plate? I told him $23plus tax. He asked if $20 even would work for me. Now that was still more than I wanted to spend, but after that hospitality and awesome gesture of love and humility I was happy to spend more than I wanted to at that point. So I did and it was well worth it!!! Fire buffet if you love Greek:)
This is our second time having been here! I loved there salad bar. There are a great variety of Arabian (mostly Egyptian) foods. With great sweet cookies and tea! All great to me!
They could have improved there interior design though!
Oh boy, I am sad that I found this place so late in life.
Probably one the best buffet deals you can find in MN. Piles of aromatic rice pilafs. Really fresh and tasty desserts. Not quite traditional pistachio baklava, but baklava-shaped with creamy gooey ness inside.
There were tons of stews but I really like okra so I downed the okra stew. Also the giant potatoes with sauce was great.
Service was great - down to earth and friendly. The decor is as it should be: diner-like without the fru fru extras. Mostly tables and standard stackable chairs.
Also there are western dishes like spaghetti and meatballs and Mac and cheese for the kids. I didn’t try them bc I got to get my fill of middle eastern foods.
Don’t miss out on this unassuming but diamond in the rough!
Wonderful place and people. The service was down to earth but friendly. Aromatic pilafs of every kind graces the buffet. Sambusas, falafels, even steamed and fried fish for the pescatarians. Lots of ribs and grilled chicken for the carnivore. The dessert was uncannily good - creamy, gooey kunefe and baklava looking things hit the spot after a sumptuous buffet lunch.
There was also a cold plates table with tabouleh, salads, melons, dolmas, etc. i didn’t try it bc I need room for the pilaf and meat.
Everything seemed and tasted fresh. This is an incredible lunch deal and I am happy I discovered this place! A humble but confident venue that knows what it is doing.
PS - also western foods like spaghetti and meatballs and Mac cheese for the kids.
It was amazing. Foods were delicious.
