Pizzeria Lola

Very good Pizza Restaurant, definitely Italian style. We had as a starter the Roasted Cauliflower and as main the Tavern, the Iowan and the Hawaii Pie. Everything was just amazing 🤩 Service was outstanding. The only negative point was the loud music, but this was minor. Highly recommended restaurant. Will join my favorite list on Google 🤩

Lola is without question our favorite pizza place in the city. The crust, sauce, and ingredients are on point every time. The staff is friendly and easy going, but very efficient and always there at just the right times. This is another one that I can’t believe it took me this long to review. We’ve been hooked on Lola since not long after they opened and they’re only getting better with time.

The Korean BBQ pizza (with arugula which I think should be replaced with Korean salad of who’s name I can’t recall) is by I came to Minneapolis. The Forager pizza with cremini, shiitake, and portabello mushrooms and the queens of buttery melts cheese… fontina and taleggio…. With tarragon to add that scent of the green forest…. Genius! The waitstaff (Harriet- shoutout) recommended Tavern with pepperoni, jalapeño, and honey—to which I upped it with Calabrian chili and garlic… a hot flame of a kiss with my favorite sausage… Pizzeria Lola @pizzerialola is way out on a corner in the ‘urbs. But they take reservations (thanks for not putting the single person by the toilet or the bar), have a photobooth, and good drinks. The staff are friendly but the customers are friendlier. All of @annbkool ‘s restaurants add a service charge so you can add tip or leave tip if you want, but a living wage is built in. Was this the best pizza I have ever had? I prefer less charcoal on my crust so I would say that this is some very good pizza. Better than many I had in Italy. Ah, before you get your knickers in a twist… look up Ann Kim’s story… she is legit with her pizza… and remember that I LOVE American pepperoni. And, and, I had many excellent pizzas in Italy. Look at my blog. But for Minnesota, this is good wood oven pizza. Ann Kim is building a restaurant empire so check out her other places too. And aspire to be her - the all American dream. First time here. It was good. Got the korean bbq and sweet Italian. I'd have to say both were good, but the sweet italian was definitely the one. Idk how I feel how beef bulgogi on pizza. Still debating. The place has a nice atmosphere. The only thing that sucked was that our waitress kept serving two gentlemen next to us with her back turned to us. She was standing between our tables and was constantly back and forth, helping them, neglecting us completely. We were ready to order. Menu's were to the edge of the table for about a good 10-15 minute but whenever we wanted to notify her after she helped them, she was off so fast it was hard to stop her and I didn't want to come off like a rude customer. Overall. Nice place.

I had the Korean BBQ pizza and it was amazing. The crust and attention to detail on the construction of the toppings was excellent. The arugula was very fresh and not bitter , as I don't normally enjoy arugula, but this I would have eaten as a salad with the chilli-soy oil. The only disappointment was the lack of service for refills that I had to ask for twice. I was able to sample three other pizzas that we all shared and all were equally good. I also really liked the panang?? (curry wings) - really tender and well done with tons of flavor. I wish I would have saved room for some lemoncello ice cream! But we were all stuffed.
