As always the best service, delicious food and they were very accomdating to making space for the baby. Love this place for brunch or dinner!
Food & Wine’s Dish of the Year: the Paris brest. Do not leave here without tasting it! A rich and unexpected combination of flavors and textures that no words could fully capture! We also had the smoked sturgeon royale, the gougeres, the tarts flambée, and the chicken rillettes - all excellent choices at the recommendation of our waiter, James. On a night with excellent atmosphere (Cornbread Harris at the keys on Sundays) and bustling staff, they made us feel welcomed and, dare I say, borderline VIPs. The service is excellent and you really would be missing out if you didn’t make this your next date night spot or top pick on your twin cities visit.
My partner surprised me with the Paris Dining Club at home meal kit for Christmas and it was absolutely fantastic. We've been following this Chef since we learned about her through Travails Basement Bar and she's extremely talented. The Pike Quenelle was decadent! The Beef Wellington was cooked to perfection. Carrot gravy? Yes please! Love, love, loved all of it!! What a great idea to surprise your loved one with.
I heard from a lot of people that Grand Cafe is in their top five so I figured I'd see for myself. I've only been there once but everything was so good. We sampled around 8 things from the menu and each was better than the last. In my opinion the entrees were the best part. Our server Evie was super friendly along with the rest of the wait staff. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area.
The Grand Cafe used to be our go-to place before it changed ownership. When Jamie Malone came onboard, we decided to hold off until a special occasion given the price increases. It's definitely special-occasion worthy. As a designer, I consider it one of the best restaurant interiors in Minneapolis. The food lives up to the elegant, laid-back, and perfectly-executed vibe. We got the carrots in carrot butter, which is like some weird form of vegetable heaven; I don't have words, just try them. My husband got the fish and I got the chicken. Both were incredible - perfectly balanced, cooked, and presented. On top of it all, the service was impeccable. I can't wait for the next occasion to go back.
Brunch. Grand Cafe is such a pleasant space to eat great food. The French omelet and eggs Benedict were perfect and so delicious. The chicken liver doughnuts were a nice blend of savory and sweet. Professional service. Tasty mimosas. I can’t wait to go back.
The quality was great and everything was well cooked but I wish the menu had a little more variety and the prices were a bit high. The service was fantastic and the ambiance was romantic but laid back.The steak tartare was phenomenal but I'd stay away from the sweetbreads. The omelet was great but $30 for just an omelette and toast is ridiculous. The chicken was well cooked but bland.
Beautiful atmosphere and eager staff, the plants and rustic chic really work well for this place. Although I'd like to describe this place as romantic, it appears that the dimmer and more "sexy" seating is reserved to an area for larger parties, 4 plus. Food was well constructed, seasoned to taste and was fresh. Overall, good experience.

Paris Dining Club is magnificent--the best treat for at-home luxury eating! As a new parent in/post-COVID, I've had little opportunity for eating quality food outside of the home. Every time I opt for a PDC menu, I'm so delighted! Thank you!
Great service and great food. Staff is attentative and knowledgable. The food pushes the envelope just a tad on what most would be comfortable with, which is a good thing. You find yourself being adventurous, trying things you normally wouldnt.
We went here for a special dinner and it was amazing. The food was incredible and the staff did such a great job with the Covid guidelines and still made it a really relaxing meal. I can't wait to go back and experience their food again.
This is a very upscale, French Bistro. It really has high quality Cuisine and you get what you pay for! That means higher prices but much, much higher quality than what you are probably used to when dining out. The eggs benedict was phenomenal at today's brunch and I'm looking forward to returning to this lovely, relaxing restaurant for a fine dinner someday, soon.
