Brittany is the best bartender/waitress... best place in the twin cities!
Great atmosphere. It's like the 'Cheers ' of Irish pubs in Minneapolis. Nationally known for it's Traditional Irish Music session at 6pm every Sunday. Great food on the menu. Good place to take the family to eat and enjoy the Irishness of the experience, food, music, decor.
Food was fantastic!! I would have given 5 stars but our waitress Mel was lacking in good service. Asked for things multiple times, never received them. Maybe Mel could work on following through with customer request. 🤷
Now that this place is connected to Red Savoys it is truly one of the best spots in Northeast to hangout. Don't get me wrong, I liked this bar before the pizza came. The staff is always smiling and helpful and their food is pretty good. But this addition puts it over the top.
If they still have it - check out the 5pm-6pm special. You can get a large pizza with whatever toppings you want and also two drinks/beers for $20. This is one of the best deals I have ever seen, my wife and I came in for this about four times in two months and my belly can prove it.
Keep up the great work, I am sad that I don't work close to here anymore.
Efficient and pleasant server, Shaelin. Excellent fish and chips, topped off with a Guinness. PERFECT!
Delightful burgers, perfect onion rings - crisp and not soggy or overdone.
Quality pub with a wide variety of drink selection, personable staff, and an atmosphere that emulates a genuine irish pub. I will definitely visit again in the future.
Good selection of beer and whiskey, we had very good fish and chips and an excellent chicken pot pie. Service was cheerful if a bit slow. Dessert (big cupcakes) was dried out and basically inedible. Still, a worthwhile place to eat.
Fish 'n chips: the fish fillet was huge and the chips were deliciously seasoned. The waitress was attentive, and seemed very eager to wait on me. Very personable. My beer glass wasn't empty for more than a moment before she offered another.
Good food, good atmosphere, slightly pricey but you get what you pay for. It was everything I could hope for in a dining experience.
Great St Paddy's experience! Beer tent outback with a great band. Really enjoyed the themed tap selection, the staff were friendly and fun. They even horsed around with out drunk antics. Solid place for a pint.
Great selection of draft beers, clean, good atmosphere. They have a red's Savoy pizza franchise adjoining, I do not know anything more about their food, with an excellent pizza available and many good to great beers to choose from what else could you ask for? I know lower prices and more beautiful women, the ones that were there were quite attractive but more of them always make a place look better and I'm just cheap so lower prices are always better, but seriously for a place downtown the prices are reasonable to not bad.
This place is fantastic! They have a great menu with traditional Irish and American food. You've got to try the Irish chips and the St. James Gate sandwich! They've got an impressive whisk(e)y selection also focusing on Irish and Scotch, but have some very good American whiskeys and bourbons. It's just a great pub with good people!
