Uptown Diner

I ordered doordash and put in notes that I needed the sauce on the side bc I was hungover and need to slowly bring my taste buds to their full potential, one of the employees was nice enough to send me free ice water with a note to drink water, this was amazing because my apartment water kinda tastes like what I imagine Phoebe Waller-Bridge's bathwater tastes like, not quite rancid, but not quite right. Thanks to whatever arctic glacier they got over at uptown diner they got the coldest, crispest water to ever bless my mouth, it was like sipping straight from the fountain of youth, I love you guys you saved me from the great headache of '23

This is a nice diner in the middle of town. It has a lot of choices when it comes to food, and the atmosphere is relaxed. The only thing is that my Cajun Breakfast was good, but the sausage was not very good. It had a very strange taste to it and it tasted very artificial. They do bring a lot of food, so be very hungry when you come. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a good bite to eat.

First time on a real diner... and the counter area was closed due to cleaning haha... well I used a booth. Food was great, I had biscuits and gravy with hash and eggs... soooo delicious!!! And huge portion. I had to take half of it to go. The biscuit was buttery and soft, the gravy savory and creamy. The hash was nice and crispy and the runny yolk made the perfect bite with a bit of everything. The hot chocolate with whipped cream was great, not overly sweet. The waiter made a mistake and she charged me with someone elses table, but when I told her she voided the wrong charge quickly enough. I hope it won't be an issue with my bank statement. Great service and food.

I ordered a special burrito that's $16.5. It was big that i finished just the third of it. I asked to take out the leftover and waitress just gave me a box. I did put for the food in. I paid in cash $22. Told her to keep the change. The taste of the burrito was not that bad and id say the food should be a healthy one. It got vegies and black beans. The pulled pork was generous. Fresh tomato sauce and sour cream over it.

We stayed in Uptown recently and were looking for a good breakfast spot. When I saw pictures of the hash browns I knew we had to go. We ended up going twice! The food was delicious with hearty portions. But those hash browns…they need to teach every breakfast place their secret. These were some of the BEST ones I’ve ever had! Hot, perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. I actually talked to the kitchen manager on our second visit because they need to know THIS IS HOW IT IS DONE! Nice menu, great staff and fantastic food.
