Great flavor with a few gripes. I got the Bali Bali. Everything tastes great flavor wise, perfectly cooked soft egg, but there was maybe a single tablespoon of the chicken and the food was ice cold. I did get it to go, but my drive was only 3 min. It was also served in bare recycled paper bowl, no coating even so it kinda felt like eating cold soup off a thick paper towel, which disintegrated during the meal. The servers were very sweet. Although I got the impression the service may be on the slower side given it took about 35-40min for my order of a single dish with only 1 couple in the restaurant (who knows if they’re mostly doing take out but it was only 5pm). Seems like a fun place for a date, but with the small portions and high price tag maybe not a regular joint, at least for me. The hungry & price conscious might come away underwhelmed but for those in search of well executed flavors it’s definitely worth a trip.

A delicious ramen joint with broth to die for! Their ramen broth is so rich and creamy with loads of umami. The duck ramen and korean wings were incredible. Great atmosphere with very friendly and attentive staff. Lots of dishes are available vegetarian or gluten free. Ordering is all online, you open a tab for your table, making it super easy to customize dishes. Definitely coming back.

Tori 44 (and Tori Ramen, their St. Paul location), is literally one of the top ramen spots in the Twin Cities. This is because they embody the spirit of what ramen is. They have original and unique ramen. You won't find a ramen like their's in the state or in the country even. They make their own noodles, which is rare in the States. Their main ramen selections are poultry based, although they do run some unqiue ramen specials every now and then. My personal ramen picks here are the DraMN and Duck Ramen. The DraMN is their OG and first original bowl of ramen that I know of. They had this ramen back when they ran Unideli, a former ramen spot that used to occupy the deli area in the Japanese grocery store United Noodles (some MN ramen history for ya). The broth is emulsified chicken bone broth. Think tonkotsu, but instead of pork, it is chicken. The broth is thick, creamy, and fatty. It comes with chicken chashu, soft boiled eggs, and some other really delicious and unique toppings. This bowl incorporates unique flavors, salty, sweet, and umami. The Duck Ramen is a more citrusy broth. The Duck chashu is so moist and tender. Super delicious. Again, with the soft boiled egg and their unique and delicious toppings. Their noodles have a perfect bounce and bite to them. Again, they do a lot of specials. Sometimes, they run some unique ramen incorporating other kinds of meat like lamb. It is also a norm to find them doing specials that is vegan/plant-based (they had a really good vegan/plant-based tsukemen/dipping ramen one time). Speaking of plant-based, they are plant-based friendly and do have good options. See pictures I've attached for a couple photos of specials they had. My go-to appetizers/small plates here are their yuchayaki (plant-based takoyaki made of yucha), wings, and fried kimchi (think of extra crispy battered kimchi, making it like kimchi chips/karaage). Just think fried pickles, but kimchi instead. Just to note, they recently took out yuchayaki, but sometimes they bring it back. Lastly, their cocktails are amazing. The Shiso cocktail is so refreshing and aromatic. That being said, I hope you understand now why this spot is a top-notch ramen spot. If you're a ramen fanatic, Tori 44 (their Minneapolis location) and Tori Ramen (their St. Paul Location) is a must stop in the Twin Cities. Aside from ramen, they are just an awesome restaurant in general with delicious food. They serve other dishes besides ramen too.

They had a lot of options for different diet types. The broth we got was chicken. The noodles were a bit thick and tasty. The chicken meat was super tender. Serving size was large, as normal be with ramen. My husband and I split a bowl and the be accommodated us. They had great decor, good music, friendly staff. Food was tasty. Really happy we came here.

Wonderful spot. Perfectly paired flavors with dishes that encouraged me to try something new. The meats and sauces had a lot of flavor. Enjoyable spot to grab food at the bar or at a table. Kid friendly. Great service.

Good place. Very delicious and flavorful ramen. On the expensive side, but according to them, they have healthier ingredients. Yummy mochi dessert and neat drink options. The place seems like a good meet up spot. Cool atmosphere. Missed out on photo opportunities.

Absolutely fantastic service and the food was downright delectable. Our host even took time to humor us in our conversation on the classification of foods. As we were leaving she said something to me and I took my earbud out and she spoke again and I still couldn’t hear her, wanting to save myself the embarrassment I hurriedly left the establishment and while,at the time of writing, it’s been only a few moments since i left I hate awkward departures and I’m deeply sorry for my lack of listening and I’ll come back soon enough to atone for my misdeeds 😔

Took our grandson for lunch. New experience of ordering from phone at table and paying before eating. The three dishes we got were delicious but, seemed on expensive side! For three of us it was over $60 without any drinks or dessert. Surprise pic of Prince in one of the bathrooms. Went back 10/30/22 with son & family. Great Bloodly Mary. Had a Tea Egg...& Their shrimp pancake entree. Grandson loves the place. Music was only thing that could be on a lower volume. Unique murals outside.
