This place has the best pork chop sandwich I've had in louisville. It's locally owned restaurant. They offer a great selection of beers most of them are local. The pork chop sandwich was a big boneless chop grilled with light seasoning. I also ordered the seasoned fries which were good nothing special. My wife had the brisket sandwich. It was chopped and tasty. Not the most amazing BBQ in the city but the best I've had in the east end. The pork chop sandwich was great and only $9 it's a terrific value.
Excellent. Juicy smoked pork, homemade sides, variety of unique sauces. Always good!
Nice little place. Good food. One thing is for sure, they know how to cook. Great deal on the 1/2 smoked chicken. Very tender and juicy, meat almost falls off the bone. Potato salad, green beans fried corn is really good. Fried potatoes are pretty good. Need good fried green tomatoes and this would be my favorite place.
The best food on earth. I tried to get a job there and have them pay me with the most amazing green beans I have ever eaten, but they said it was against labor laws.
The BEST BBQ ever!!! I'm never disappointed with this place!
The ribs at this place are amazing! The pulled pork is also fantastic
This place is awesome. Not commercialized like other BBQ joints and the staff is quick and friendly. I always get the special Smokehouse burger here. They toast the bun like they do their BBQ bread and its very tasty. I always get the sweet potatoe fries and try are a great compliment. Food is also a lot cheaper than other places. Highly recommend
The only problem is the fact that I didn't know about this place sooner! Great service. Awesome sauces. Loin back ribs were incredible and portions are huge. Baked beans had unique and wonderful flavor. The dipping sauce that comes with the fried pickles is heavy on the horseradish but still very good. I will be back SOON!
Great food, great prices. Best BBQ in town!. Now normally when I eat BBQ in Louisville, I go to Mark's Feed Store. But we were out towards Smokehouse BBQ and I thought it'd be good to give a new place a try. And I was glad I did! We started with the onion loaf, which was HUGE! It was pretty greasy, but that didn't stop me from enjoying it. Just had to eat down to the bottom layer, which was too greasy to eat. Then we all ordered different entrees- me the pulled chicken, others the ribs, chicken, and pulled pork. Mine was amazing! Sometime BBQ chicken is dry, but not here. And both the ribs and the chicken fell right off the bone and were really juicy. Our waitress was friendly and service was speedy. I must say, this is now one of my favorite BBQ places in Louisville!
Very good BBQ. We found this place on our way back from Milwaukee. The wait staff is very friendly from the time we arrive to the time we left. My wife had the smoked turkey salad. She looked as if she enjoyed very much. Dressing on the side. I had the Beef Brisket with collard greens, house potatoes with corn bread. The Brisket was very tender and had little fat. The potatoes were good also. The collards??? well not so sure they were fresh are maybe left over from a few days back, they are the only compliant I can raise. Just a bit bitter and somewhat tough with a lot of stems. I give the Smokehouse 8 of 10. I did see many other dishes being served that also looked very appetizing. It was worth the 3 mile out of our way to find this place.
