Cozy outpost on the outskirts of town where decent folks serve a decent service and decent food for a decent price!...not bad for $6.99
Nice clean place with a deli that is popular . I payed $13.50 for a 15oz Starbucks in a can & 2 packages of pop tarts, OUCH!! That being said there not getting rich it's the only way you can stay in Buisness & make a few bucks for yourself way out here.
Nice clean bathroom with 2 stalls, both regular size. A decent snack selection and typical gas prices for this part of the trip. The clerk was super friendly and talked us into buying a lottery ticket.
This is an awesome pit stop on the way to Bishop and the mountains. They've got gas, clean bathrooms, snacks galore, a great Deli, liquor, and tons of stuff you might need. Employees were SUPER friendly and welcoming, and it felt like a corner store rather than a service/gas station.
Will definitely be back should we find ourselves in the area!
Staff is super nice .Cheryl is a doll .. Gina is a charm.. Gamini is super. Store is clean pumps are clean islands are clean .. breakfast burritos are the best especially when Gail makes them.. Some stuff seems a little pricey but this is a convenience store not a discount store ... right?
Stopped here for gas and a tarp and was greeted by the nicest gas station clerk there must be. He assisted me with finding a tarp in the store then got bungie cords out of his truck along with a flashlight from his own stuff and gifted them to me then came outside in the nasty sideways rain and helped me tarp off my cargo in the bed of my truck and then continued to call to find a near by hotel room available for me so that i could safely rest after driving all night
I was walking from Oklahoma to California. This was the first store I came to after Stovepipe Wells. It was about 12AM Dec 22 2017 I think. They had HOT SOUP! AND CORNBREAD! OH MY LORDT! IT WAS SO AWESOME. I ate about four cups of soup and cornbread with hotsauce and some chocolate. I walked through town and ended up sleeping outside because the motel clerk was preoccupied 🙄. The store was well stocked though I didn't need anything but hot food that night. And OMG! THE BEANS AND HAM WAS PERFECT! CAN'T WAIT TO BRING MY SON THROUGH SOMETIME.
Often stop here for gas (Chevron station) on our way up or down the 395. Nice folks, decent selection of convenience items, deli is tasty (but often closed by the time we roll through).
Great people working there, always friendly and helpful, free coffee, good food at their deli.
