This is the best hidden bbq place. The brisket is the best!! Esp love the baked potatoes with chopped brisket.
The BBQ combination plate was great. The meat falls off the rib bones and is tender and moist. The brisket was equally tender. The sausage had excellent flavor. The portion sizes were good as well including the 2 sides. The location, inside a gas station/ convenience store has kept me from stopping there previously, I really missed out on great BBQ because of that. Don't make that mistake!
Ribs and brisket are our favorites. Meats have great smoked flavor. Chopped beef sandwich is a tasty satisfying lunch. Brisket by the pound is delicious but be sure to get some of the au jus on the side for reheating and keeping the meat moist. Consistently good barbecue.
Don't let the location (inside a gas station) fool you. This is a good place to grab some BBQ. Walk thru the cafeteria line, select your meal with sides. Eat at the plenty of tables they have. A nice quick, sit down BBQ meal.
I had lunch here yesterday and found out I had been missing out on the best bar-b- que place in Lafayette. The brisket and sausage were both top notch.

Got the BBQ pork plate lunch, with Mac-N-cheese and greens on the side. Pork and Mac-n-cheese were very good, greens were too salty for my taste but overall very flavorful. Would definitely eat again.
Followed My Nose Here. Lil Daddy's is located in a service station. While pumping gas, I was overwhelmed with the most intoxicating aroma of BBQ, and I just had to follow my nose. I treated myself to the most delicious pulled-pork sandwich! As I write this review, I salivate over the memory. I will be back... one day!

Gas station at its best. The setting is low rent but the BBQ is very good. The brisket and ribs are tender and tasty.

Don't let the inside gas station location fool you; this place is awesome. It seemed a little sketchy at first, but the smell alone confirmed we found a great place. After tasting the food we agreed it was a 5 star worthy BBQ restaurant. If you are looking for really good food, eat here.
The chicken was good, and I would give it 3.5 stars. My dining companion had the ribs and rated them 5 stars. It is a food counter in a convenience store, where they cook outside and in ovens inside. The price is reasonable and the staff friendly.
Don't let the location fool ya! It may be in a gas station but this place is the real deal - Tender, fall-off-the-bone ribs & juicy, flavorful chicken for the win! The smothered cabbage and coleslaw were homemade and delicious. I'll definitely be back!!
Don't let the outside of this place fool you. After tasting the brisket, I was convinced. This place has great bbq. The person who took my order said this was her mother's bbq business. Brisket is 5 star. Pork ribs 5 star. Chopped beef 4 star. We also had jambalaya, potato salad, and baked beans that were all excellent. I would give this spot 4.5 stars of I could. Ill be back.
The food is consistently good. The jambalaya is to die for. Ribs, sausage, brisket, its all good. Just got back from our monthly Men's outreach at our church and Donna (owner of Lil Daddy's) provided the pulled pork sandwiches. Found me another thing I like there now. But, do not go there on Sundays for bar-b-q. Like Chikfila, they ain't open on Sundays. Again, another reason to support this business. Thank you Donna and the staff for a great dinner for our Men's Group.
Little did I know that my cravings while pregnant and happening upon this heaven on earth would change my life with some chicken and turnip greens.
The way I tasted back home when granny used to cook in just 1 bite was enchanting and intoxicating.
At least once a week I must take myself back to this heaven for this chicken, these greens and only theres.

Bout the best bbq ribs I ever had! This is myy place to go when I want some real good finger lickin' juicy bbq! Sides are awesome as well! Especially that jambalaya! Very much worth every penny!

Prices are very reasonable and the employees are very helpful and friendly.
We were on our way back to lake charles from baton rouge and it was well worth going off the beaten path to find a place.
Lafayette doesn't have many great barbeque places, but this is one. Don't be turned off by the fact that it is in a gas station, either. Power through that feeling and taste some of the best barbeque in Lafayette!
The BBQ ribs were delicious. The cabbage was good but a little spicy. The jambalaya was good but a little salty. The staff was friendly.
