Baileys was one of my favorite restaurants about 6 years ago. I went about a year ago and the food and service was good but it seemed dead compared to how it was years earlier. I'm not sure if its the not having a liqueur license or what but its was so quiet! To me i don't mind bringing my own wine especially since they don't have a corkage fee! My most recent visit last week was wonderful the manager and server were extremely helpful and the food was great! I also find the food to be very affordable but once again the place was really quiet?! We did go on the early side around 6 and by the time we left there were 3 other tables. I will return and I wish them the best.

Great Steak!. I recently went and had their filet mignon. It was excellent, high quality beef you can't find anywhere else in town. They don't serve alcohol, but me and my wife like to bring our own wine
Consistently good food!. I have eaten here many times over the years - lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch. Have NEVER had a bad meal....the food is excellent and consistent, and the service is beyond reproach. The same items are always available on the Sunday brunch, with a few variations and it is ALL good.....the selection of food you get for a $20 Sunday brunch is amazing. The restaurant is clean, the staff is professional and attentive and above all, IT'S QUIET......you can actually have a conversation without screaming over others or excessively loud music.
Great food and atmosphere. I have been twice since they opened the cafe on the side of the main restaurant. The quiet atmosphere is so pleasant if you think there is no longer a place to dine in peace.
The food is as always, superb. The staff is great, so pleasant and so nicely dressed and neat. Another thing that is hard to find these days.
This place rocks!!. Everything about this place is excellent, from the atmosphere to the terrific food! I go frequently and am always shocked because we're usually the only customers in the place. Their brunch is to die for!!!
Wonderful Brunch!. My husband and I just had their brunch today! Absolutely wonderful! So many things to choose from, and at a great price too!
Wonderful!. I went Friday night and had they're ribeye! It was delicious! Friendly and fast service, not to mention cute waiters! This is the first place in town I've seen with a cute indian waiter!
Amazing!. This place has really turned itself around! The service and food used to be terrible, but nowadays they have a younger and lively staff. The food is absolutely wonderful and their desserts are HEAVENLY! Bread Pudding and Creme Brûlée! It's a shock this place is often empty on weekdays.

Excellent lunch and great service! I had the lunch special that was a grilled shrimp wrap. It had an abundance of shrimp, perfectly seasoned and came with a cup of crawfish bisque that was delicious. The wrap was so big I took half to go. Sad that such a good locally owned restaurant was so empty, only 1 other table at the noon hour when the chain down the street was packed! Not over priced either!
Mother’s Day food was very good. Crawfish cakes excellent. Prime Rib over cooked. All food was cool or luke warm.
Owner is a pleasant person as well as the Server Austin.

We've eaten here before and love everything about it. When we go, we have seen people we know and they love it too. We like to eat LOCAL as much as possible. The food is usually AWESOME at these places. I think they put a little extra love and care in what they do. They still practice Customer Service, imagine that. Mr. Bailey also serves a Thanksgiving meal to the needy and has been doing this for decades, even now with things so expensive. Some said they were a little expensive, but I see happy employees, good food and great service and they also give back to the community. We like Christian people who do Christian things like he does, and then keeps on doing it, year after year. Not many places do that. One restaurant in Texas serves their Police, Fire Fighters EMT'S, Veterans and Service men and women, and Teachers, a meal for 1/2 price, twice a year. That is pretty awesome. Guess where these people take their families out to eat? As they should. I love a loving world.
Ate lunch one day and was part if an event the next. Amazing food and excellent service. The shrimp in the pasta was on the buffet and reheated the next day, so tender and tasty both times!

We participated in Bailey's Thanksgiving Box Lunch for the 4th year, delivering dinners to the elderly & senior citizens of the Evangeline Apartments. We greatly appreciate the generosity of Chef Ema and his crew at Bailey's and the residents always rave about their delicious dinners!!
The food was excellent, restaurant was very clean, our waiter was very attentive & friendly & the atmosphere was quiet & pleasant for conversation. They don't serve alcohol but you can bring your own. An overall excellent experience!!
Plenty of parking, well lite, fairly easy in and out, considering it is right off of one on Lafayette' busiest roads. Plenty of handicap spots, and the restaurant can accommodate handicap persons. Service was great, cops and glasses never went empty. It is a serve yourself, (Buffet) but up-scale. Plenty of different items, and plenty of each dish. Salad, meats, vetables, gumbo, & deserts. Well displayed,and very attractive set. There is a carving station with two different meats, and very full hot bar with bread, vegatables, and more meats & seafoods.
I had not been to Bailey's in a long time and it was great. I had the crab cakes which were served over pasta. They were excellent and the price was very reasonable. I'm planning on returning very soon.
