50 year restaurant at Hilton head must be doing something right. We had a wonderful meal. Main course took a little longer to serve than normal. Thought they missed our order. Waitress was very friendly and full of energy. Food was good. Not a busy night. Our table was right where the staff went in and out of all night. Atmosphere at other tables would be much be better.
Overall we would recommend this restaurant.
Went to celebrate my husband's birthday. Had an early reservation. We were seated next to a magnificent Christmas tree. John, our server, gave us the specials and was attentive without interrupting. Started with the pear martini, which was amazing coupled with the calamari appetizer. I had the short rib special and wow. It melted in my mouth. The medallions that look like scallops are actually perfectly cooked potatoes. My husband ordered the scallops and was equally pleased. We only wished we had room for the blueberry cobbler. We will definitely see you again.
We went 3 for 3: medium rare 8oz filet cooked perfectly. High quality Ahi tuna prepared perfectly, along with fabtastic crab cakes. Our service was outstanding as well.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at a local gem that exceeded all my expectations - a gastronomic haven that left me in awe. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I could sense an air of sophistication and warmth, setting the stage for an unforgettable culinary experience.
The first thing that struck me was the impeccable service. The staff greeted me with genuine smiles and guided me to my table with grace and courtesy. They were attentive throughout the meal, ensuring that my every need was met without ever being intrusive. Such professional and friendly service truly added to the overall charm of the restaurant.
Great service. Excellent food. Shared a bottle of wine. Had calamari appetizer and enjoyed the salad and seafood pasta dinner.
We had the greatest night at CQ’s. It was our last night in Hilton Head and wanted to do a nice dinner as a family. We called an hour before and they were able to fit us in. The service was impeccable (my water was always full) and the food was delicious. I had the ahi tuna - fresh flavors, loved the edamame hummus. Salmon, sirloin steak, shrimp & grits, and mussels were also amazing. I had a crew with me that can be hard to please and they were so happy! We were given chocolates to end the meal, which was the perfect end.
Always one of our favorites in Harbour Town. An old 50 year family business. Everything is made to order super fresh. The blackened mahi was delicious. Server was very attentive and friendly.
Once you get over having to pay ten dollars to drive into the gated neighborhood where the restaurant is located, things start looking up. The restaurant is warm and inviting, the service is thoughtful and professional. Not afraid of cream the she crab soup is rich and lovely. Beet salad smart and clever and the crab cakes rich, generous amount of crab, creamy, nicely browned. I'm glad we went here.
Super welcoming staff and delicious food. We came twice during our stay ordering the Short Ribs, Aki Tuna and Chicken, all came out lovely. And the staff helped make the modifications to my friend’s dishes to accommodate his allergies. The flavored butter is a lovely touch and the desserts are definitely shareable.
Absolutely delicious. I was in a party of 5, and no one was dissatisfied with their meal. Two of us had some of their specials for the day, the rest ordered from their menu. Very friendly service, too! This restaurant is in an old building with a bit of history behind it, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. We had some appetizers and desserts as well, and everything was great. I would suggest booking a reservation: ours was for 5pm, when they open, and by the time we left the place was full!
