Lemon, Oyster ,Roast Pork with Fried Rice and lup Cheong. Oh yeah!
I remember when this restaurant was at the old kaikoo mall (now the county and judiciary building). Whats so amazing the husband (original Filipino cook) and wife ( original cashier and server) who run the restaurant is the same ones . Their lemon chicken and fried rice is awsome. 30 years my family been coming here and still going strong.
Stopped in on Saturday 6/24/23, and got a mini-order Lemon Chicken, and it was delicious, because the skin was ultra-crispy, and the meat was so juicy! I decided to relax and eat there, and sat by the window. So relaxing! And the owner Ling, who was my server too, was super cheerful & engaging in conversation! Definitely return!
I can't speak for the rest of the food because we just go here for the egg foo young with gravy it's tasty and the portions are big

take out service is awesome fast friendly staff....my favorite as i order it lemon chicken with cake noodles on bottom soaked in lemon sause under 10 dollars
I'm sitting here finishing dinner and had to say something about how good the food is here. My wife and I shared the won tons, Mongolian beef and pork fried rice. The portions were large and the taste was excellent. Seriously, the biggest plate of fried rice I've ever seen. Great service as well highly recommend this his for dinner.
Very good Chinese food. We ordered the party size chicken pan with both oyster sauce and lemon sauce on the side. Massive size and goes far. Quality for the price!
Love it! I always order the Crispy Chicken with Oyster Sauce and Fried Rice plate, yummy! It's the cheapest place for Chinese food and they give you a lot more than other places. My tummy loves it!
Ling's Chop Suey House is honestly one of the best places there is in Hilo! The Cake noodles are amazing, actually the whole place is just perfection! Ordering take out is easy aswell. 5/5 Stars for this place. ^_^

If you want you Chinese food fix, come to Ling's, never to disappoint, the food is always hot and fresh,the people are some of the nicest that work there. If you want a late note bite to eat, get down there as the food is fantastic. If you want special order, they can do that too. One of the best places you will ever eat chop suey.
