Whataburger

Not entirely sure why other reviews are so bad. We found friendly service, good food, and a clean dining room. The ladies' restroom is not big enough to accommodate a wheelchair or many styles of walker, but otherwise I have no complaints. Also, be aware that this location is more than a mile east of I-35. Enjoy! :-)

I've been here 3 times. The first time, the employee at the counter mocked my food allergy with the employee preparing my food. They made no efforts to avoid cross-contamination, and I ended up dealing with an allergic reaction shortly after. I was NOT impressed. The second time (Dec. 11th, 2016) , there was an elderly gal who acts annoyed when you don't know exactly what you want 30 seconds after entering the building. The service was slow. The third time (December 31st, 2016), the same elderly gal gave my family irritated sighs when it took a few minutes to decide what they wanted. The food came fairly quickly though.

Bugs. There were roaches big and small, everywhere. Large ones in the lights, small ones roaming the floor, in the front of the restaurant even. There was also a smell up front while I was waiting for my order, that was incredibly reminiscent of someone with an incontinence issue. Had I not been on a road trip with a hungry child late at night and everything else around was closed, I would have walked out, refund or no, without my food. As it was, I inspected every bit of food carefully before either of us ate because we kind of ran out of options and hat to eat something.

What is going on here. I travel by car around North, Central and East Texas for work. I have always counted on Whataburger for a great burger and clean place to eat. This is the first of 100' s that was not like the others. Dirty greasy floors, old dated dirty bathroom neither had obviously been clean properly in months. Staff with worn and ill fitting uniforms, dental problems and some kind of itch. The burger was cold and the bun was stale. Come Whataburger fix this store please.

We just stopped at what's burger #540 in Gainesville, tx. And had the worst burger I've ever had! We went through the drive through and we're on the road home before realizing that half my bun was soggy...wet like something had been spilled on it. Whoever assembled that burger knew it was bad and they served anyway! I was totally grossed out and will never stop there or any whataburger again!!!

If I could give it no stars I would my friends and I ate there September 26 at 2am and someone thought it would be cute to put some hair on my double meat burger it was no accident because I tore the peace off that would have been my next bite and there was another hair I am so pissed off we were not rude by any means and we waited for a while my advice don't eat here... and to the person that put it there you are lucky I don't know who you are or I would hit you in the face so many times you would be eating the rest of your meals threw a straw
