Absolutely DELICIOUS!! A small little storefront with extremely kind staff and wonderful pretzels!! They're not open very often but try them when they are!!
Perfect pretzels. Run by really nice people that even asked for our opinion on their new beer cheese recipe. Seating is mostly outdoors right now. They are still working on creating a small indoor cafe area so I'll come back and update about that.
I have a business in the Haile Village and every event that LEJ Pretzels attends we look forward to grabbing some pretzels. They are the best and everyone constantly raves about them!! I would strongly suggest trying them unless you have a highly addictive personality cause believe me you will be hooked!!!!
Delicious pretzels! We have been to LEJ several times and each type of pretzel has been outstanding. We also wanted local, tasty treats for our wedding favors so we asked LEJ if they could deliver 120 pretzel sticks to our venue in Gainesville. Lori at LEJ was so helpful through the process, answered all of our questions and gave us great advice for how to serve them at the venue. They even delivered all of the pretzels to our venue which was a huge help! Our wedding guests loved the pretzels and couldn’t stop raving about them! We weren’t able to get any pretzels for ourselves at the wedding (some people didn’t follow the one pretzel per guest rule..hehe) but we stopped by LEJ today (just a few weeks after our wedding) to eat some and they were phenomenal! Such an awesome place to have in town!
LEJ is absolutely the best spot for pretzels in Gainesville. My wife raves about them to everyone within earshot. We try to visit at least once a week, and we place a solid lunch order every time.
I highly recommend the pretzel bites with beer cheese. I always order these with a cheesy bun, and sometimes order a cup beer cheese on the side. I have on good authority that the ham and gruyere is outstanding as well, but I can't quite bring myself to change my regular order.
Lori, one of the owners of LEJ, is very friendly, and we look forward to seeing her at each visit. The only real downside is that they are open solely on Fridays and Saturdays. I can't wait until they open their doors more frequently. I believe that you can find them at farmer's markets on other days, but I have yet to actually confirm that.
Tried the sweet pretzel with horchata drizzle. It was incredible. My dad (who's from Philly) tried the traditional salted with mustard and loved it as well. Only open two days a week right now but well worth the wait :)
I visited 2 weeks ago for the first time and decided this will definitely be my favorite cookie / late night munchin spot! these dudes are awesome! I came after close down and they still served with some yummy fresh highly addictive dopamine releasing cookies! get that sign up! lovely local spot 100% gainesvillian
These were the best pretzels I've ever had. Fast, reasonable, great kind service and absolutely DELICIOUS.
