Andaz Indian Restaurant

We went to this place for lunch on a recommendation and it was great! The food was authentic and delicious, the restaurant was clean, and the service was incredible. We had samosas, gobi Manchurian, and chicken nihari with naan. We couldn’t have been happier with our choices. I will be eating here again frequently.

I was excited to see a place so close to my hotel in Gainesville. The location and parking were great, and the young lady that took my order was very polite. The garlic naan was burnt on the bottom. And I DO MEAN burned, the whole underside was black and inedible, also.. it was buttered, but I tasted zero garlic which was really disappointing. I also ordered mild chicken curry, and that was an EPIC disappointment. The sauce was a tomato sauce, it wasn't just a curry with a heavy helping of tomato sauce.. it tasted like a can tomato sauce and I honestly didn't taste the curry one bit. I will not be returning.

Parking is horrible but the food is so good here I will make the effort when I simple would not visit other places. The flavor of the food is that good. The size is plentiful. You do bus your own table . The buffet is fast, hot and exceptionally flavorful and so is ordering off the menu in the evening. Some of the best Indian food I've had here and you can pick the level of spice you want so all enjoy.

This is probably the best Indian food I've had in Gainesville. The taste is decent and satisfies the craving, but it's almost Indian fast food style in terms of greasiness and how minimalistic the dishes are. We liked the Chicken Tikka Masala, samosas, naan, and gulab jamun. This wouldn't really measure up somewhere where there is more Indian food available, but it'll do for Gainesville.
