Batuqui is home to some of the best cocktails in the city! Keeping in mind so many bars who boast handmade craft cocktails, this place does it better. Well balanced, incredible flavors, and fresh ingredients. The food was wonderful! A small plate of cheese (grilled and topped with honey), seafood pasta, and traditional stew (vegetarian), and flan were exquisite. Our server was sweet, funny, efficient, and generally on point. The atmosphere left nothing to be desired. A small cozy house with simple, beautiful decor. Hardwood from every angle. I can't wait to go back and try more!
We all 4 ordered something different . Every dish was an amazing palette of flavor . The atmosphere was so cozy and comfortable. The service was outstanding . We will return when the weather is warm to experience the out door services and fun.
Batuqui was wonderful. It’s such a small and cute spot with delicious food. Their portion sizes are big and full of flavor. The waitress was very helpful and gave such good recommendations. Would definitely come back again! If you come here, you must get the coconut butter cake!
This was my first time having Brazilian food, celebrating my man’s Birthday. This spot did not disappoint! Attentive and fast service. Cleanly and beautiful decor indoors. The food is flavor filled vibrant and delicious! The octopus appetizer was so buttery and flavorful, the drinks are delicious. Definitely recommend, I would gladly return 🥰
I came for a drink and apps and was extremely impressed. The bartender was very friendly and shared her recs with me. Best fried yuca I’ve eaten outside of my house no doubt.
This is a hidden gem in the Larchmere neighborhood. A Victorian house that's been converted to a restaurant. Very little of the original interior has been changed on the inside, it still feels homy. Lively and cramped when things start humming. Food is awesome authentic Portuguese fare. Great for a date night or a family or friends get together. Will be back.
I visited this establishment three times on special occasions because this place isn't cheap. The food has always been amazing as well as the service. I ate outdoors once and indoor twice and loved the atmosphere pleasant. Never was disappointed.
Often, I find myself upset whenever I see rankings of great restaurants in Cleveland and this place is omitted. I think it deals with the stigma of the "East Side," but Larchmere is a wonderful area.

The empanadas are soooooo delicious 11/10. The short ribs were so tender, melt in your mouth tender.

I like restaurants specifically like this where there are 1 or 2 locations and independently owned because the quality control is 10/10 every time.

Service was EXCELLENT, and the food was AMAZING. Incredible Baccalao, Gaucho steak... Lamb Chop special was way worth it. Awesome bartender! Can't wait to get back to this place!!!!
Tried Brazilian food for the first time, visited here during Restaurant Week 2023. They had a set menu with an appetizer, entrée and dessert. We tried the Pork dish and Mariscada- both were amazing, very flavorful. The service was good. The restaurant is very small, almost cramped but the ambience is nice. The dessert options were good too, especially the Brazilian custard. Will definitely visit again. The fried bananas are a must try!
If you are looking for authentic Brazilian food this is 100% the right place. I discovered this gem while walking around the streets of Cleveland looking for another restaurant with a colleague. First time visiting here and let me tell you…It was OUTSTANDING! Our server Nicole served us to the finest doing a superb job making sure we were fully satisfied, very polite woman. Such great food in abundance. Brazilian flavors. Unique and tasty fusion. Fabulous backyard seating. Hint, make sure you come with an empty stomach ready to eat. Definitely will be coming back.
