This is THE Italian grocery, bakery and hot food deli in the CLE. It has a robust wine department, a dedicated olive counter, and a wide selection of imported foods as well as their own branded foods. It is a smaller store that is easy to navigate, but it can get very crowded around the holidays and lunch hour. Gallucci’s is a Cleveland institution that dates back to the old Central Market (where Progressive Field now stands) and it is a must stop if you are shopping for authentic Italian imports or looking for an old school Italian grocery store.
Super friendly service - amazing selection of meats, cheeses, pastas, wines, bakery items… this list goes on! A true Italian grocery in midtown… worth the drive! We enjoyed take out and sat on the picnic tables outside on a perfect CLE summer day.
I had to go to Cleveland clinic not far from here and we stumbled on this GEM of a place. I enjoyed the BEST LASAGNA I have ever had. Sweetest people behind the counter serving the food, wonderful store up front!! Please don't ever change. I will be back
Very good foods and very polite employees. I so enjoy coming in here when I'm in town. Absolutely delicious! Mike had such a sense of humor! We enjoy our conversation. We knew some of the same areas. Love this place love my eggplant 🍆 sandwich thanks too the cook who makes my food I love him!! But some of the workers ain’t friendly too us! It was my daughters first time in there she loved the place & her sandwich but when she got her antipasto she said thank you the man just didn’t say anything too her walked in the back!
Gallucci is literally the only Italian grocery store I have ever ventured to in Cleveland. You might ask why? Because it was the first one I found when I moved to Cleveland in 2008, and their selection, quality products and people are second to none...that's why.
Such a great experience! Staff were very helpful and accommodating...beautiful selection of fresh and frozen food options as well as pantry goods. We will definitely be back soon!!
Considered THE Italian market to shop for authentic food for decades. Wide selection of cheeses, meats, deserts, Italian specialties, spices, and more. Great prices on wine, too. They have a hot lunch counter weekdays that's a bargain (lasagna w salad and bread $7.50). Catering menu is also awesome, featuring lasagna and stuffed shells. Pick up frozen items for future dinners, too. They even have some tables outside to make an urban picnic feast!

I am sure it has been said, this place SMELLS GREAT. When you open the door you are hungry. I often stop for deli, spices and oils; but the real attraction is the food. Stand in line it moves fast. Then drool.
I recommend the Italian muffuletto sandwich if they have it. Do not forget desert
