I'm a hot pot connoisseur and have to admit that this is one of the best places in Chinatown! It was my first visit and unlike most other restaurants in the immediate area, cleanliness was an obvious priority. The food quality was excellent. We opted for the ala carte hot pot option rather than the all you can eat, because there were more higher quality food choices. The broths were excellent and didn't have overwhelming flavor that took away from your chosen ingredients. Additionally our server Oaki (also the manager) clearly cares about the customers experience. He was excellent as well. 5 stars. Side note: Don't forget to check out the washroom hand driers.

The food was great and the waiters were friendly and fast with service. Make sure to come in on an empty stomach because it’s all you can eat! I wanted to try everything on the menu but ended up full. I got the spicy broth and it was the right level of spiciness for eating out. I enjoyed the variety of meats they offered and recommended to try it out if you’re in the area.

The food quality was amazing when it came down to the meat and broth. But the sauce bar was lacking in options. Services were slow because they needed way more staff on a Friday night. Other than that the staff were nice when they had a chance to check in. Will definitely come back on a weekday. Parking: is street, paid garage or lot down the street.

This place is so fun. The all you can eat is actually super affordable. The food was delicious. We got the half and half for the broth. So fun to do with friends, but I'd expect for the whole experience to take a while. Friendly staff, but this place is busy.

Delicious and cheap hot pot in china town. All you can eat was only 26.99. Definitely worth the price. We tried the combo broth and both were very flavorful. The spicey broth was very good. Service was prompt and they refilled our drinks and our soup several times. Would highly recommend this place. It’s a little further down the road for most of the restaurants in china town but worth the walk.

Great spot for a hot pot. Service could be better, but amazing broths and good quality ingredients. Also make a reservation on yelp as this place is packed and has a waiting. 10/10 would recommend!

Have been going to Happy Lamb Pot once a week for the last month at least. Cook your own food with choices of broth. Meat and vegetable fresh. Easy digestible food. The service is excellent with attentive waiters and waitresses. Will continue my weekly trips.

The quality of food, the all you can eat, the top notch ambiance, I thought this place was going to be way too much like a Jada Pinket tell all interview. However, that was far from the case, this might be the best value in the city! Happy Lamb in Chinatown is a funny name with some seriously good food. You can get an all you can eat for around $30. That’s right, all the meat, veggies, rice, sauce, soft serve and whatever else your gluttonous gut desires is served up for you for a measles pittance. It is a hot pot place so they will prepare the broth with vegetarian or meat options and then to your prefered spice level. The customization doesn’t stop there as you get to cook all the food to your liking in the two broths you decide! We ended up getting everything! We had the lamb, the beef, fish, gourds, book choy, fried rice, octopus and even eggs, not regular eggs though, quail eggs. That’s right we eating bird eggs you’ve never seen before. Then we celebrated the end of our feast with some soft serve 🍦 like some grown ups. I could not recommend this place enough!

Happy Lamb Hot Pot made us very happy on our birthdays because the meal is free for the birthday person! However, it's affordable on any other day, too. The menu has plenty of items to choose from: meat, seafood, vegetables, and noodles. Easy to cook, delicious to eat. The bouillons are flavourful to sip on or make a noodle soup on the side. There is also a sidebar with condiments (adding a bit of everything makes a great dipping sauce!), kimchi is a must alongside greasy foods for balance, and sesame balls are straight-up scrumptious. P.S. Meet cooked with shrimp paste inside is one of the best tricks I saw on instagram.

Yo. I just went to flavor town and it was spicy magic. It's like a condiment wonderland where your taste buds can go on a flavor adventure. And let's not forget the egg rolls – they're so good that even Humpty Dumpty would risk falling off the wall for them. Five stars for a saucy, egg-citing experience! Hot pot forever.

My husband and I are new to hot pot but are huge fans! Happy Lamb has two locations, this on and one farther north. Both are all-you-can-eat. It has been delicious every time! I mildly prefer the one a little farther north, but only because their sauces are labeled better. The way this works is you choose a broth, and then round 1, 2, and 3 of foods to cook in the really delicious broth. They've always been super accommodating of foods needs, we've gotten the broth without any garlic or onions. And it's easy to get broth with a wall, so you can have one side be meaty and one side vegetarian. Highly recommend these restaurants!!
