We are local. We eat here 2 or 3 times a week. It's always at 15 min wait for 1 meal or 2 meals. We ordered 1 dinner with double fries no cole slaw and add a separate order of 1 piece of fish. We received 3 pieces of fish all in the same box, the fish was as thin as the fries, the fries was maybe half an order. Like LJS or not the wait plus bad orders......not ok. Went inside to ask about order after months of bad service.....5 employees inside doing nothing. So why the 15 to 20 min wait with each visit?

They used to be great but have slipped recently. Fish had burnt pieces on it, I would assume the oil needed changed. Gave me the wrong kind of drinks in my to go cup and I asked for sauces, napkins and silverware twice and received none of it.

If you don’t want rubbery fish and shrimp and charged for food you ordered but did not receive along with soggy French fries do NOT NOT eat anything or spend money at the Marmet location they are con artists and a toddler could probably cook better than these idiots!

They do not honor the food quantities listed on the menu. Shorted me 2 fried shrimp per order on the 2 for $6 items. They also shorted me 2 chicken planks. The fish and chicken platter specified 3 chicken and 2 fish. I was only given 1 chicken plank. On both items they claimed they have not honored it in a while since Covid. Lastly they let me order extra hush puppies knowing they were out of butter. Only thing saving that location is that they are rural and the only seafood of it's true in town.

I called about 5 to see what time they was closing due 2 it being Christmas Eve. Scythe time I may have been 45 minutes to an hour from getting there. The gentlemen said they will be closing at 7:00 pm. I said thank you. We arrived at 6,:10 pm walked inside got almost to counter and some guy starts saying we r closed. Lights on doors open but yet he said we r closed and went and locked one door then started locking the door that I was taking a picture of the sign on the door.

Food was very nasty tasting . Fish chicken and shrimp was not done and had a very bad taste to it. Also gave me the wrong pop . I spent 20dollars here and waisted every cent on my food. I was on work break so I couldn't go back.

Only reason 2 stars is because our food was hot. The place needs to be updated. Staff not friendly, they act like we was putting them out by dining in
