Tbonz Gill & Grill

We love eating out occasionally and TBonz is one of our favorite restaurants, whether it's just my lovely wife and I or with friends and the food is always good. As good as it has always been, the last time we were there, it was a little bit better with our waitress, Ursula. She was friendly, professional and entertaining all at the same time.

We came in about 9:30 (they close at 10). Service was great and we were never made to feel rushed. Food was delicious. We started with Tommy fries, and had the sirloin and fish n chips, then finished with coconut cake. We chose Brussels sprouts as our sides, because they are so tasty there ... pan fried and crispy, and very flavorful.

Without Alfredo the service rating would be a 1 - Alfredo really turned our dining experience around last Tuesday! After being seated in another server's section for 5 minutes, the host finally got us our drinks. After another 5 minutes, maybe longer, we still hadn't been acknowledged by our server with more than an over the shoulder "be with you". We asked to be seated in another section, but instead Alfredo was asked to help our server so he took our appetizer order. About a minute later, our server rushed past our table, never pausing and again gave another over the shoulder "be with you". Realizing we would not get an acceptable service level from her we got up to leave. Alfredo came up to us and asked us to come back in, asking us to give Tbonz a chance to make it right. We were seated in his section and he was one of the best, most attentive, and friendly servers we've ever had. Alfredo recognizes the importance of creating a memorable dining experience and we were very grateful for his intervention and attention. Thank you, Alfredo!

I've always liked the spot, it's just a great atmosphere to have dinner and Cocktails with friends. The food is pretty good. I'm mostly love the Tommy fries. I've tried many dishes over the years including the wings, the market shrimp sandwich, the fish and chips, and a chicken salad sandwich which I wish they were at back to the menu. Lately, I have been ordering the prime rib sandwich which is a very indulgent and flavorful menu item. This has become my favorite and I highly recommended. My only gripe is the flash fried brussel sprouts, please people add some salt and pepper!

Excellent experience here at a home cookin steak house. The T bone I had was great. Our server Kelly was extremely kind and had a helpful attitude with a good sense of humor. The manager came out to check on us as well. This is a great spot to bring friends and family. Everyone here makes you feel at home. I really love it!

We came here early for a dinner looking for some place to have meat....best ribeye, fine salad and perfectly baked sweet potato; a gentleman with us at the table and a gentlelady at the bar (where I asked about the draft beers)....recommend totally for meat lovers👍🏻...p.s the cake was for breast cancer awareness research🙏

I'm new to Charleston/West Ashley area and I was out exploring the area one day and saw TBonz Grill and stopped in. I was immediately greeted by a warm smile and friendly welcome from Jeff, one of the bartenders. He made me feel at ease and introduced me to many of his regulars. I go in at least once a week now and Jeff continues to introduce all his bar guests to one another, which is remarkable. He knows what everyone's favorite drink is without question and genuinely cares about his customers. And Kara Lynn & Mary Francis are incredibly friendly and I feel welcomed each time I visit. Food is great, drinks are great and you can't beat the crowd and ambiance. Thank you TBonz in West Ashley!
