I sometimes dread coming here because it always seems to be on a Friday night and the wait time is always over an hour and they don't take reservations, but the food is phenomenal and the interior is so cozy and heartwarming that I can't help but feel like it's worth it. My favorite place to get Italian food in Charleston.

Delicious Italian food! I loved the veal, pasta, sauce, meatballs and wine. It's difficult to find good Italian in Charleston and this place has found a way to do it. I will happily be back, it's worth the wait.

The focaccia was delicious as well and a great way to begin the meal. You might have to wait because Mondo's is first come, first served. Our server was very good. Additionally, this restaurant serves generous quantities, so arrive hungry!

Came here on a whim when we got to Charleston, not expecting the restaurant to be packed to the brim at 7:30! The food was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced with generous portions, and the service was amazing as well. I would HIGHLY recommend coming here if you’re craving Italian in Charleston.

Love, love, love, love Mondo’s. Oh, there’s very little that they don’t do very very well. One drawback would be this host staff sometimes I think their job is to fight to keep the guests at bay the customers rather than welcome and accommodate them. Once you get past these gate keepers, the experience is exceptional.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Highly recommend for those who aren’t sure where they want to eat. My partner and I went about a month ago and had an amazing meal. Amazing staff that was knowledgeable and kind. Will absolutely be coming back!!!

Going back this weekend. Gotta have either the spaghetti and meatballs or the Lasagna.

This place is such a little gem! The food is really, really good. Everything made from scratch and it shows. I had the manicotti and it was so big I could only eat half of it! I don't eat salads, and when my boyfriends salad came out, it made me want to try a bite, it looked so pretty! Laura, the bartender, couldn't have been more of a sweetheart! I think I have found my new "normal"!

Mondos is a fantastic Italian restaurant! This place has a perfect date night setting and has outstanding food. The kitchen is very close to the dining room so you can be close to the action as well. Can’t wait to return again!
