Cute little ice cream sandwich shop on Meeting street right across the street from Fig. They require a few minutes to warm up, which was nice considering what ice cream usually does in the heat. These didn't melt super quickly, and I was able to eat it with some sort of dignity. I liked the crunchy cookie with the ice cream. It held its shape well through several bites, and didn't melt or drip all over. I thought it was really good, but who doesn't like cookies and ice cream... We ate sitting outside on a bench on Meeting street, which happens to be a prime location for people watching. Overall a nice experience.

A great way to beat the heat while visiting Charleston! I love the variety of flavors they have, and really liked the caramel option we picked. Service was super friendly and very quick as well! Just make sure to eat it as fast as possible if it's hot outside, because they do melt fast!

Sweet, delicius and happy Icecream! In hot and humid weather, all irritation disappears the moment you put Peace Pie in you mouth. Especially, my lovely daughter really likes it! What more do I need?

It was a blistering summer day. We were in the need of a cool down. Came here for some ice cream while walking the humid streets of downtown. Upon entry we were taken back by the selection. But the girl that was working was not very helpful. Any question was met with lazy answers and a frown face. The pies themselves are decent but not the best. I give it a 4.

Great! Been coming here for years. Always a great treat in the muggy heat. Personal favorite is the pecan pie! Only downside is they come right out of the freezer so a bit hard, but give it a few minutes in the Charleston heat and they're great. Not much indoor seating so plan to walk with it or sit on benches outside.

Wow, we stumbled upon this place, actually I’m not sure if this is the right location we visited. We stayed at The Hampton in Meeting Street. We saw it the first day of our visit to Charleston. These ice cream sandwiches are amazing! Such great options! I had the chocolate peanut butter one, hubby had the creamsicle. Try them!!!

Stopped for an ice cream sandwich. Lots of varieties. I had coconut, my spouse had cookie dough. Price is like everything nowadays, not posted so ask before indulging. It was $7 each as of this writing. $6 would have been more reasonable, but it was a pretty good ice cream sandwich.

Really enjoyed these. It was a new experience having pie filling with ice cream. I loved the cookie dough one and the coffee toffee. The shortbread cookies were strangely addictive. 😁

January 6, 2023 - Beautiful night for strolling through Charleston , with a full moon, we stopped for ice cream ! 1st time. . . Never seen this style, inch thick ice cream pressed between two large cookies, looks more like an ice cream sandwich! Jerry Klause invented this ice cream cookie sandwich in 2010 , as the story is told on their website. Over the next few years he and several family members have opened 5 locations of Peace Pie. There’s 3 locations in NJ, 1 in SC, and 1 in FL. My wife & I noticed about 30 choices of pre-packaged ice cream sandwiches. Being from Maine, Charleston’s weather was fantastic in January, much like our summers! I guess Charleston’s very busy during the warmer months, and sells more ice cream in warmer temperatures? Not many people coming in for the ice cream. I really enjoyed the Green Chocolate Chip mint ice cream with dark cookies on the outside! I’d rate this a solid 4.7 stars, we hoped for the option of ordering ice cream without the cookies . . . Maybe next time I stop😃
