First time visiting and everything was amazing! The staff were all extremely knowledgeable and helpful with recommendations. It's the kind of place you can't wait to go back and order the same delicious dish, but at the same time try EVERYTHING else on the menu!
Love their Yellow Curry! Fire Street Food is s hidden gem.
Stumbled on this place walking down King St. Very busy on Friday afternoon, one waitress struggling to care for 18 people! She did great and managed to get our drinks and appetizers then food orders quick. Food was tasty, curry authentic. My complaints; seaweed salad came with lettuce, bad combo; bar seating had you looking into plastic containers instead of being able to see the grills; lots of plastic! Disposable plastic is common use, I prefer use dishes for many of the things like sauce and silverware. Poor customer experience on that but food is very good. Portions are perfect size for a man to eat in a sitting. I recommend this place and hope they will clean up the bar seating area.
Oh, GOD, the best Chinese food I have ever had in my entire life and I mean every word! This food will have you running back to the host and the next day to order another plate. The portions are full sized! I am telling you it might look like the same menu from every other Chinese restaurant. Yet do not let it fool you it will Have you slapping yo mama, yo grandmama, your Your auntie, your cousins and everyone that has ever cooked for you!!! It is A STAPLE in CHARLESTON PERIODDD. I moved here just for the FOOD. Get you a plate You will NOT regret it….actually send me one too😭😂
This little place is so quaint and the food is fantastic!!! There's some great Charleston pics on the wall, the restaurant is clean and the food great. The cream cheese wontons are very tasty. The vegetables with the hibachi and teriyaki chicken are so good. They're all cooked to perfection with lots of flavor. Definitely, make this a stop when downtown!!
My husband and I love coming here. The owner is so kind and a hard worker. The service is always fast and the food is a great bang for your buck! Well worth the stop for delicious and quick sushi on King.
Walked the entire area near this place and bar /restaurants were a little too classy for me right after work, I stopped in and got a table “luckily” right away. I like to try different types of food and this was perfect. Shrimp was over priced but the rest was spot on. Also 1.99 happy hour beer? All in all great food and worth the visit. Will be back again.
Amazing Place to eat, I eat here with Coworkers sometimes Multiple Days in a Row and the food is great! The service is even better!
The food was great. I had the tuk tuk noodles with beef, steamed rice, miso soup and my daughter had Pho.
The food came out as prepared, so fresh. The only issues I had was the miso soup came out after my noodles. We had to remind server to give us the steamed rice. Once the food came the waitress never came back until I flagged her down that she could take the empty plates and my card was in the folder to pay.
Busy and confusing atmosphere but someone came up to us after only being 1 minute to see if someone had helped us. We asked to be seated. She led us to a table.
The quality/authenticity of food and pricing was extremely satisfying, especially comsidering the excellent location in a rather touristy/busy street. It is Located in King street, very good place for exploring the downtown Charleston. The service was excellent too. Overall, it was a very satistfying experience and we would visit again.
(We had Miso soup, sushi rolls and Pad Thai—pictured—all good).
This was quick and delicious. A little sweet on the teriyaki sauce yet it worked well with the dish. I would definitely come back. They were jam packed for lunch but once that crowd left it was calm, cool and collected! I'm sure it could have been more vegan. There was a few egg pieces in my rice. Vegan-ish options yes!
They have all kinds of Asian food, but in Korean style? It’s not bad, but not the best. They put the rice inside the green curry😅 this is the first time I had it like that (normally the rice and curry is separated?) Humm…interesting.
